"Every Party Needs A Pooper..." by TheSkeyRoom

#OuchieOuch #SoledormirsKeys #TerrasStory #LSTerradream #SPDreamer #SadBoi #PainTrain #PartyPooper

For the longest time, Terra didn't have a backstory. He was just a kid with a happy, normal family, and for a while, I didn't really care.

Then, one day, I sat down and thought, "If Terra and Purity are brother and sister, how come they look so different?"

Thus, this happened.

P.S. A certain pink Nightmare WON'T be showing up in SKeys, I just made her for story purposes XP

[Song: "Organization XIII" Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX]

In the dream, Fiona finds herself in an odd situation. It appears to be a small restaraunt, the windows and doors have been frozen shut with a thick layer of black ice that blocks out the sunlight, and all the lights have been blown out, making the room dark despite it being in the afternoon. Three Dreamers stand surrounded by a wall of rose thorns, a female orange and white Dreamer stands by a window in her human form, her arms encased in a thick layer of rock as she tries to punch down the ice on a window, a green male Dreamer in his true form stands with his back to the window, quietly looking between the rose thorns for an unseen Nightmare. A little boy with bright orange hair, a green t-shirt, orange shorts, and big glasses cradles an unconcious yellow mouse Fairfin in his arms, tears streaming from his terrified eyes.

The sounds of screaming and whimpered cries can be heard on the other side of the wall of thorns...

-

When the dream began, it took Fiona a moment to realize what was going on. She was awfully dazed from the events of the night, even in her dreams... But the haunting sounds emanating from further within the restaurant made her jump into action, becoming tense and ready to fight. She frantically looked around, observing her surroundings... The Elemental didn't recognize the two Dreamers, but she immediately recognized the little boy and the unconscious Fairfin. //...Terra... Sparky...// Her heart ached just looking at them... Which also brought a realization. //This... Is this the past...?//

-

The little Terradream looks down at the Fairfin in his arms, and gently nudges his head with his pointer finger, trying to get him to wake up. He doesn't know whose Fairfin this is, or even what his name is, but at this point, it doesn't matter--since all of his best friends are dead. Shaking with fear, Terra looks up at the green Dreamer and asks, "D-Daddy, i-is she g-gonna e-eat us t-too...?"

The male Dreamer looks down at his son, fear clear in his eyes, but he puts on a small smile for his child. "No Terra, she's not going to eat us, the Shadow Hunters are coming. Every--everything will be just fine." After comforting Terra, he then looks over his shoulder to the female, "Summer, how's the window?"

"I'm trying, Fable, but I can't break it open!" Summer's Dream explains in a panic, still punching the window, "The ice is too thick!"

"W-well you have to keep trying," Fable remarks, turning his gaze back to the thorns when an eerie, unnerving female voice speaks up.

"Every party needs a pooper, that's why I'm inviiiited~
Ooh, well what have we here... it looks like you three are the only ones left now~"

Fiona stepped closer as she listened to the three Dreamers, starting to understand what she was seeing. //So that's Fable... He wasn't a friend of Terra's parents... He /was/ one of Terra's parents...
...And there's a Nightmare here... But... That means--// Just as that thought went through her mind, the horrid voice of the Nightmare spoke. The Elemental glared towards where the voice came from, but she was filled with dismay when yet another realization came to her. //This has already happened... It's a dream, and that means... I... I can't do anything...!!//

-

Terradream whimpers when the Nightmare speaks up and steps closer to his father, looking through the rose thorns for the glowing eyes he saw earlier.

"I think it's cute, how you think some flowers will stop me fron reaching you," The Nightmare's voice hums with an evil glee, "And even though your little Terra isn't the birthday boy, I still saved the big surprise for him~"

Fable Dreamer narrows his eyes and stands ready to attack, but he shivers a little. "I'm not going to let you harm my family, Nightmare! You won't even come close!"

The Nightmare laughs, her laugh full of mockery. "Ohhh, I'm not going to hurt them, that's the big surprise..."

Curved, barbed chains shoot out of the wall of thorns, piercing through Fable's hide and impaling him as he screams, one smashing his lantern and dragging it off...

"YOU'RE going to kill them, Fable~"

Summer's Dream whips around when she hears her husband scream, and she watches as the Dreamer falls to the ground, convulsing violently as black splotches begin spreading across his pelt... "FABLE!!" Summer screams, rushing to his side and attempting to tear the chains out, but they're in too deep--she won't be able to save him in time... Biting her lip, the mother Dreamer turns back to the window, using all her strength as she desperately tries to break the ice off. Maybe she can at least save her son...

But little Terra doesn't understand what's happening, he doesn't understand why his daddy's fur is turning a sickly brownish-green or why his eyes are rolling back into his head, but he does understand that he's in agony. "D-Daddy..." Terra whispers, cradling Sparky in one arm so he can place his other hand on his father's head, trying to help him stop shaking so much, "Daddy, d-don't die... th-the Shadow Hunters are c-coming, you said they'll s-save us... P-please Daddy, I d-don't want you to--to die...!"

-

Even though Fiona knew this was the past... She couldn't keep herself from wanting to protect Terra and his family... But... What could she do?

She listened to the Nightmare's taunting, staring in the direction of the eerie voice with an furious expression. When she heard the mention of a birthday, it finally hit her //...Stardream's Birthday party... This... This is what happened...// Every time the Nightmare mentioned the 'surprise' she had for Terra it enraged Fiona that much more...

However, her anger was soon overtaken by horror. The Elemental let out a gasp as barbed chains impaled Fable. "NO...!!" She had to do something--she had to try.
The Elemental sprinted over and tried to help Summer rip the chains out, but found that her hands went right through anything she tried to interact with. //N-no... T-there's really nothing I can do...// She knew now... This was how Fable died.

She looked from Fable to Terradream sorrowfully, tears beginning to fill her eyes as she heard the young Dreamer's words. "...I-I'm sorry... I'm so sorry you had to go through this..." She whispered.

-

"... Te... rrraaaa...?" Fable Dreamer gasps, moaning in pain when the Nightmare finally tears her chains out of him, leaving him to gasp and wheeze painfully as flames start eating away at his chest and his hooves grow into claws...

Summer's heart breaks as she hears her son trying his hardest to comfort Fable, but she reluctantly turns away from the window to pull him away from the suffering Dreamer. "Terra, honey... He's... He's not going to make it... You need to stay away from Daddy..."

"B-but she hurt him!" Terra wails in protest, crying loudly as he wrestles against her grip, watching as his father screams and bursts into flames, "We have t-to help him! We have to save Daddy!! DADDY!!"

Unable to do anything else, Fiona just watched in sorrow as the scene unfolded. She rushed over to Summer and Terra, tears rolling down her face as she heard the little Dreamer's heartbreaking cries. //...T-Terra...// The Elemental wished so much that she could do something... Anything...

She was afraid to see what was about to happen next, but she braced herself, knowing that she had to. Watching Fable's horrific transformation, all the Elemental could do was hope.

-

Summer slowly looks up from her son with tears streaming down her face as the new Nightmare struggles to his feet... The wall of thorns vanishes with the death of the Dreamer, revealing the entirety of the scene around them--the corpses of Dreamer children and parents alike are scattered all over the place, and neon pink eyes watch from the shadows...

The female Nightmare laughs maniacally as the Husk of Fable Dreamer turns to his family, seeing only raw meat before him to satisfy his savage hunger. With a horrifying roar that vaguely carries Fable's voice in it, the new Nightmare leaps forward to devour his first meal...

Summer quickly throws Terra out of harm's way before Fable pins her down, throwing her left arm up to stop him from tearing her head off.

Now, Terra has to watch as his father eats his mother alive, starting with her arm--'Fable' snarls and growls while Summer screams and cries. Sobbing hysterically himself, Terra runs up to his father and starts tugging on one of his chains, desperately trying to get his attention, and screaming, "DADDY! Stop! S-stop biting Mommy! You're hurting her!! Stop it! D-daddy, please! Please stop!!"

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:25 am

The female Nightmare hums eerily in the background, her chains scraping across the ground as her bright pink eyes draw closer... "Daddy's going to eat you, Terra~"

The little boy looks away from his corrupted father when he hears the female's voice, and his eyes widen when he sees her emerge from the shadows--a tall woman with black hair and horns, dressed in a short frilly pink and black dress, her bloodied, hooked chains coiling around like snakes...

And Terra can't even think about running away when she lifts him off the ground, taking a few steps away from his parents... "N-no he won't, my D-daddy loves me, he w-won't eat me..." Terra whimpers, hugging the unconscious Sparky almost like a teddy bear, "... W-what did you do t-to him...? Why d-did you eat all m-my friends...?!"

The Nightmare giggles and holds Terra close to her chest, smiling down at him and pinching his cheek before petting his head with her clawed hand, "I'm sure your Daddy used to love you, Terra, but he doesn't anymore... And why did I eat your friends? Because I was hungry, of course!~ Oh, they tasted soooo good!~" she squeals excitedly, turning Terra around in her arms, forcing him to watch the monster his father became while she nips at his ear and adds, "And now, your Daddy knows exactly how I feel, see how hungry he is? Hee-hee~
... Fable, Fable, lookee here, I've got a bite-sized snack for you!~"

-

Fiona was left feeling utterly grief-stricken, infuriated, and helpless at this point. Watching Terra as a child having everyone he loved being ripped from him just tore the Elemental's emotions apart.

She glared as she watched the Nightmare emerge from the shadows—a glare that gained even more fury as the Nightmare picked Terra up. “TERRA...!!” Fiona cried, stepping towards the Nightmare as though she could actually do something about it… But she just had to sit there and watch. A deep hatred started boiling up inside the Elemental with everything she saw and heard.

…Then a sudden jolt of fear joined her mix of emotions as the Nightmare called for ‘Fable’… What if this wasn’t just a horrible memory of the past? Was she about to witness something beyond horrible and be completely unable to do anything about it…?
//No… No… This… This can’t be happening…//

Terra shivers as the cold Frost Nightmare pets him, but then his heart nearly stops when she calls his father's name, and poor Terra starts crying harder as his father's Husk raises his head and looks at him with his blank, empty eyes, his disfigured maw still dripping with blood... "D-Daddy... N-no... don't... d-don't eat me, Daddy... P-please... please Daddy...!!" the little boy hysterically begs...

But then, a blinding white and amber flame explodes into the restaurant, making the female screech and drop Terra while "Fable" roars.

The Shadow Hunters are here.

The first Shadow Hunter to be seen is a navy-blue and gold Dreamer with fiery amber eyes and a white underbelly, and two others can barely be made out, one a bright white with amethyst eyes and the other a more lavender color with emerald green eyes, but the others seem to be blurred by the light of the fire--like a memory that's been poorly remembered.

"Solace, Joy," the blue Dreamer orders, "Get the survivors to safety! We'll deal with these Nightmares!"

"Already on it, Valiant!" another male voice replies.

Somewhere, in all the chaos and confusion, amid all the roars and screeches and shouting, Terra finds himself being scooped up in the arms of a stranger, being carried away from the darkness and out into the light--but there's still one problem, and Terra reaches his hand out back to the horrific scene. "DADDY!! DADDY!! DON'T HURT MY DADDY! YOU'VE GOTTA SAVE HIM!!" he screams at the top of his lungs, as the dream blurs and the noise fades...

-

It was heart-wrenching to Fiona as she stood there and watched young Terra beg for mercy. She tensed up, fearing the worst... Until the Shadow Hunters arrived.

Relief flooded through her when the Nightmare dropped Terra. Fiona stayed near him as everything quickly devolved into chaos. She didn't recognize any of the Shadow Hunters there, but she definitely noticed that some of them were oddly blurry...

As one of them picked up Terra, Fiona felt one last stab in her heart as the little Dreamer cried out for his lost parent.

//...This is what Terra told me about... When the Nightmare attacked him and his friends... He was so young... And so... Traumatized...// The Elemental thought, still crying as she felt horrible for the Dreamer. //...I can't let anything else happen to him...//

The white light surrounding Fiona begins to take on different shades and tones, forming into a smaller room around her.

All is quiet as Terra sits on a hospital bed now, save for his shaky deep breaths and Sparky lying beside him, sobbing for his lost bond partner. The only other sounds are the sounds of hospital machinery working.

The white Dreamer from before tends to Terra's wounds, cleaning them with water magic and wrapping them, but he works quietly until little Terra speaks up.

"... Is... is M-Mommy o-ok...?" the tiny Dreamer asks, tears still streaming down his face.

The white Dreamer manages a small smile for the boy and nods his head. "Yes, she lost her arm, but she'll be fine."

Feeling a little too hopeful, Terradream then smiles faintly too and asks, "A-and Daddy? Y-you saved D-Daddy too, r-right? Be-because you're a Sh-Shadow Hunter, you s-saved him t-too?"

But now the Shadow Hunter's smile instantly fades to a look of grief and guilt. "... No..." he quietly replies, speaking the words Terra will never forget, "I'm sorry... We didn't make it in time... We couldn't save him..."

-

After realizing where they now where, Fiona let out a shaky sigh of relief. She silently listened to their conversation. //Summer survived... Good...//
The Elemental was filled with grief, much like the white Dreamer was, when Terra asked about his father. She already knew the answer... Her fists tightened at her sides just thinking about it. //...That Nightmare... She'll regret this...//
Then she heard the white Dreamer's familiar words and felt even worse.

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:26 am

Suddenly, everything goes dark again as the dream seems to jump to a new location, the words of the white Dreamer repeating in an echo... "We didn't make it in time, we couldn't save him..."

Only this time it's dark because it's night time, hundreds of stars dot the night sky as pink petals from the cherry trees gently fall in the breeze...

And Terra stands there, closer to his current age, shaking and sobbing horribly as he listens to two Dreamers ahead of him, who haven't seen him. He wants to help, he knows he needs to do something, but his body just won't move...

"Purity... I need to ask you something... P-please... promise me... Promise me you'll find a cure for N-Nightmares...?" Weaver asks, his body shaking and twitching as he sucks in deep breathes of air... He looks like he's in pain...

-

Hearing the echoes, Fiona had to use every bit of her willpower to keep herself from crying again. Her sorrow for Terra only grew--now she knew exactly what those words meant.

And suddenly, the dream shifted to the Valley of the Cherry Trees on a night all too familiar. Immediately knowing what she was about to witness, the horrified Elemental couldn't keep her tears in. //...Oh, Terra...// She stared helplessly at the Dreamer as he sobbed.

It hit her hard when she heard Weaver struggling to speak as the Nightmare Syndrome overtook him, practically asking for help just before he turned... //...Weaver... We WILL find a cure... Don't worry...//

-

"Terra, Terra, come on," Sparky whispers, trying to get the Dreamer moving, crying as well, his color blueish-green instead of his cheerful yellow. "We... we have to do something, Terra, we have to stop him... He's going to hurt Purity..."

Weaver lurches forward as Purity mumbles, nearly shouting, "PROMISE ME!!"

But Terra still can't move. "I-I didn't m-make it in time... I c-couldn't save h-him... S-Sparky..."

Purity steps closer to Weaver, and even though they are a ways off, you can see just how confused and terrified she is. "I-I promise, Weaver, I promise I'll find a cure... b-but, why..."

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:26 am

"I can't... fight it... ANYMORE!!" Terra's childhood friend roars, smashing his lantern on the ground while dark flames start eating away at his chest... Yet again, Terra has to watch someone he cares about being consumed by darkness when Weaver lets out that horrible, agonized scream as his body starts twisting into a form fit for a monster...

But Terra still can't bring himself to move yet, even with Sparky trying to snap him out of it, he just can't handle what's happening...

It doesn't help when Weaver's voice starts echoing, either... "Don't worry, Terra, you're not going to lose anyone else, no one's going to turn into a Nightmare... I promise, I won't let that happen..."

Unfortunately, this gives the new Nightmare an opportunity... After he recovers some from the painful transformation, Dreameater asks Purity if she knows why he brought her here, and when she barely gives him an answer, he leaps and pins her down, digging his claws deep into her arms... "I brought you here so I could EAT YOU! HehehahaHAHA!!" Eater laughs maniacally, declaring after this how he plans to kill everyone, the "idiot brother" Terra, Crystal, Mina... even Fiona. Compared to how the Nightmare has acted recently, this memory of him seems wild, insane... like there's no shred of a Dreamer at all in there.

But then, the female Nightmare's voice speaks up again, echoing fron the past as well... "Now, he knows exactly how I feel, see how hungry he is? Hee-hee~"

-

Even though Fiona knew what was going to happen, it was hard for her to actually watch it taking place... To watch the group of Dreamers who she'd once seen as a close trio of friends be torn apart in the worst way possible.
She wished so badly that she could've done something--seeing Purity's terrified expression as Weaver went through the horrid transformation...
...And she couldn't bear seeing the state Terra was in, knowing just how much he'd already suffered.

...Then she heard the echo of a promise. A promise that had been broken by the seemingly insane Nightmare who was declaring all the murderous plans he had. The Elemental could barely bring herself to be angry at that moment--she was just too heartbroken.

The echoes of the female Nightmare just reminded Fiona of what came next; what she'd been fearing this whole time.
Terra's death had already been horrible--but this just made it all so much worse.

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:27 am

Luckily for Fiona, she does not have to witness Terra's death, as now the dream changes again, Purity and the Nightmare fade away, as well as the cherry trees and the night sky, leaving only Terra and Fiona on a patch of grass, and darkness surrounding them.

Terra shifts back to his human form here, and falls to his knees, still sobbing, shaking, and repeating the same words, "I didn't m-make it i-in time... I d-didn't make it in t-time... I c-couldn't save them..."

-

As the two of them were left surrounded by darkness, Fiona couldn’t take watching Terra in his condition anymore. Crying uncontrollably herself, the Elemental stepped closer and collapsed to her knees beside the Dreamer. Despite knowing that it wouldn't work, she tried her very hardest to hug him close.
"...Terra... Please... It's not your fault..."

-

But this time, it isn't a memory playing out in front of Fiona... it isn't a group of events set in stone... and that makes all the difference in this horrible dream, as Terradream leans into the hug, hugging the Elemental tightly in return. A hug they both can feel. "B-but I'm a Shadow Hunter," the sobbing Dreamer weakly protests, "It's my j-job to save /everyone/... I s-spent years at Cielo trying t-to learn more, trying to be better at p-protecting everyone... I wanted to m-make sure this never happened to anyone, ever again... B-but I couldn't... I couldn't save Purity o-or Weaver..."

-

"I'm so sorry, Terra... You've been through so much..." Fiona said between sobs, hugging the Dreamer just a little tighter.
"...We couldn’t have controlled what happened to Weaver... None of us knew... I know it's been hard... But we /will/ bring him back. We'll find a cure...!!"

"...And remember... You gave your /life/ for Purity. You saved hers...

...And then... Even after that... You came back. And even as a /ghost/ you've saved me more times than I can count... How many ghosts can say that...?" The Elemental rested her head against his as she hugged him. "...You've been doing everything you can... And that makes you an amazing Shadow Hunter, whether you believe it or not..."

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:27 am

But Terra can't bring himself to let go of the past, at least, not yet. "B-but that's because I wasn't paying attention to him," Terra replies, crying on Fiona's shoulder, "I-if I had been paying a-attention, I w-would've seen the signs... I could've w-warned him before it got so bad... before he reached the point of no return..."

Then, he goes quiet as Fiona brings his sacrifice and all he's done for her to mind, but he sighs. "No... no, but I didn't save her... Don't you see, th-the reason they named her Purity... it's because she w-was pure when she was born, she wasn't t-tainted by the horrors that we were... she was supposed to have a happy life, b-but I couldn't protect her from the tragedy that took... m-my Dad...

... A-and I haven't really 'saved' you yet, either..." he continues, leaning out of the hug enough to look right into Fiona's eyes, "I couldn't stop Demise when she stabbed you, and th-then darkness was spreading across your core...
I couldn't make it disappear, I-I only slowed it down... It's st-still there... I don't know how to stop it... and s-so someday, you'll--you'll turn into Tempest... a-and I'll lose you... j-just like everyone else... Everyone's going to d-die..."

-

Fiona looked into Terra's eyes with sorrow in her own. "No... No, /nobody/ else is going to die... And you're /never/ going to lose me... I'll always be here for you, no matter what. I'm going to make sure of that..!" She cried.
"Just... Please... Don't blame yourself... Any one of us could've seen the signs... Any of us could've warned Weaver and protected Purity... It's not your fault..."

-

Oh, how badly Terra wants to believe Fiona! But now he's starting to notice a pattern in what people tell him before they lose themselves to darkness... The green and orange Dreamer doesn't say anything else in reply, instead, he hugs the Elemental tightly, sobbing miserably on her shoulder again.

"... It wasn't supposed to be like this..." he finally says after a few quiet minutes, "We were s-supposed to be the greatest Shadow Hunters... A-all of us... All Weaver ever wanted was to be a hero, he just wanted to save people..." Terra pauses a moment, then quietly continues, "H-he knew... he knew he was going to turn into a Nightmare, he said so in his diary... It tore him apart, he s-suffered so much... I can't imagine how he must have felt... Knowing he would end up... h-hurting his friends..."

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:28 am

When she saw Terra’s reaction, Fiona felt remorseful as she soon realized the similarities between her emotional outburst and a certain promise…
She wished she had something more comforting to say... For now, she just held the Dreamer close, tears running down her own face as she heard him sob.

The Elemental silently listened when Terra spoke up. She felt horrible, both for him and for Weaver... Even more so when she found out that Weaver had known he was becoming a Nightmare. Thinking about how he must've felt... It made her wish even more that she would've done something to save him.
"...I... I'm so sorry..." Was all she could bring herself to say in response.

-

It takes Terra a good several minutes to calm down somewhat, but he finally does, taking deep breaths as he keeps his head resting on her shoulder. "... It... It's not okay... I don't know if--if I'll ever be okay... but I feel a little better now... Th-thanks to you..." he softly says.
"... This adventure has been horrible... Not just for me, but for everyone, I know... I usually just try not to think ab-bout it, but... B-but... I'm so glad I met you... If I hadn't met you... I d-don't think I could've handled it when... when Weaver turned into a Nightmare... when he nearly killed Purity... I don't think I-I would've come back if I never met you...
... Also... I'm s-sorry I lied to you... about F-Fable... I j-just didn't want to dwell on it at the time..."

After he's done, Terra lets out a long sigh, and hugs Fiona just a little tighter for a moment.

A small, sad smile came across Fiona's face as Terra calmed down. She was glad to know he felt better, even if it were just by a little bit. The Elemental remained quiet as he spoke to her, but she rested her head against his while she listened. She was honestly a little surprised when he told her how much their meeting had affected him... In fact, she felt a few more tears starting to well up in the corners of her eyes... "Y-yeah... Things have been really rough... But, I'm /so/ happy we met, too... You mean the world to me, you know..." She quietly said, hugging him just a bit tighter as well.
"...And... It's okay. I completely understand why you did it...
...I just want you to know that I'm here for you... Anytime you need me..."

-

[Song: "I Won't Last a Day Without You," by the Carpenters]

"... Thank you... s-so much..." Terra whispers, a few more tears running down his face--but this time, they're happy tears. He leans out of the hug, holding Fiona's hands as he smiles up at her, but doesn't notice as a few flowers with a soft glow start poking out of the ground. "R-really... th-thank you, I... I love you s-so much Fiona..."

-

Fiona smiled right back at Terra, a very slight blush appearing in her tear-stained cheeks. She looked warmly into the Dreamer's eyes, "...I love you too, Terra..." She said with a happy sigh.

...Then her gaze briefly shifted as she noticed the glowing flowers popping up from the ground, which made her let out a little chuckle.

TheSkeyRoom

27 Aug, 2019, 2:28 am

The earthy Dreamer simply stares into the Elemental's eyes for the moment, until she looks to the flowers. Terra makes a little chuckle as well, but...

Well, then there's just an awkwardly quiet moment where he tries to think of what to say or do next... Although, there is something he has in mind now, but just thinking about it makes his face start to turn red. //... N-now's probably not the time for that, or it'll b-be too awkward, or I'll mess it up, or...// he thinks, but he takes a deep breath and asks anyway: "... F-Fiona... d-do you th-think you could... m-maybe... lower your h-h-head a b-bit for me...?"

-

When Fiona heard the Dreamer's request, she smiled at him. "...Yeah, of course..." She immediately lowered her head as asked, even leaning a bit closer to him. The Elemental had a feeling she knew what he was about to do--the thought of it filled her with joy... And made the blush in her face a lot more noticeable.

-

Seeing Fiona lean closer and blush makes Terra's face turn even more red, and his smile becomes rather goofy, but regardless, he leans forward, closes his eyes, and kisses her...

In his mind, it's a terribly awkward kiss, but right now, that doesn't matter--he's too happy to care much.

-

Fiona closed her eyes and kissed Terra back. The Elemental was overjoyed just by the fact that they could even have this moment, which was obvious, thanks to the pleasant, blue glow that began to emanate from her...
It was a moment she would never forget, and she didn't think it was awkward in the slightest.

-

More flowers poke out of the ground around them as Terra leans out of the kiss, and he beams up at Fiona, happier than he's ever been in his life.

And the two keep talking and generally just enjoying each other's company...
