Spade was in the orginization before even MX even existed. :o He worked with her father, John. The two, along with several others, stopped a lot of deeper crimes that went under the radar. Spade would try to convince him to get out of it, but he reponsed with: "These people need us, William. We can't quit now". ( cont. )

They kept going, pushing forward. John eventually got married, and MX arrived one day, making John was the happiest man on earth..! ...But Spade found out that John's wife was actually a spy, and he rushed to warn his friend! What he found was a child MX, standing in a pool of her mom's blood, eyes red

According to John, MX was the one who finished her off, not him. But unfortunately, he didn't have long to live.. Before he passed away, he enclosed to Spade the location of some mysterious cards, the thing the spy was searching for. There were only 4 in total. ( You can guess how Spade got his nickname, lol ) Spade was gonna have MX lead a normal life and disband the orginization, but she disagreed. As young as she was, she wanted to continue her father's work, and get revenge.

Needless to say, he couldn't change her mind, so he trained her as best as he could, and swore to follow the "lil' lady" into the deepest of shadows.
Spade's card powers can cast a shield barrier on himself, or on others. Never goes anywhere from MX unless she commands it.

Scary! I can imagine what kinda voice he has, too.. He could sound like... aaah! I forget that show, there's some guy who's voice actor would be perfect!
