On most of Crimson ref, he always been referred to as
'High Prince' and none of my other characters have that title, what that means is for the Crystalgem dragons is that Crimson is in line of being king of his people... as the oldest male heir Crimson was being groomed to be the next king but that shouldn't had happened until later in his life but that didn't happen, After his father was murdered Crimson by law of the land became the next king of Rubyturehx.
A little lore on the king's armor
Every king in Gemehstedy has a magic armor that they can call upon to Aid them if they need it, each kingdom armor has different abilities but they all revolve around the Earth.
Crimson didn't get his armor until he ran away from Omen Palace and was out on his own, when he returned back to his homeland is when Crimson got his armor, the armor is a rite of passage and a showing of that individual as king, it is given by the land itself.

In order to use his armor Crimson must acknowledge himself as king and take over the land itself, he does this by speaking and using his Crystalgem magic
" I, Crimson Ta-Valance Sapphire, Last King of Rubyturehx take order of the land beneath me! come to my command and cover me in armor that will guard your king from the enemies of the land! Grant your king the power of the Earth! So, I, as King may defend the land and those who live in it from the enemies who seek to destroy them! "
This spell say about everything his armor can do and is meant for, it will protect Crimson from what he view as an enemy by using the Earth, his armor is extremely durable and has pressure magic (a magic in my world that is lesser known, more on that with lore on the magic of my universe )
In Crimson cases, pressure Magic turned his armor turns his armor into substance similar to Diamonds, the more damage his armor takes the stronger it gets, it also impossible to remove this armor unless if Crimson allows it to be removed, he usually has to speak a spell to disband his armor but in the occasion he can not speak the armor can be taken off, /only/ by someone he doesn't view as a threat, but if a person try to take off his armor and he see them as a threat his armor is sealed up tight do the pressure Magic.
The stronger his armor is the shinier it becomes, there no such thing as subtlety with a king Crystalgem armor.
