First things first, where do you think Furore would be at the moment? Would she be visiting Citrine because of the recent fall of the Goddess's Voice, Serah? Or would she maybe be in Affai still? I want to know what is comfortable and most likely for her ^0^)

And lastly, how do you want to go about Lumen's recruiting Furore for the journey? Is there any particular idea you had in mind? I would love to hear any ideas or plot imput you would like to include before we begin ^0^)

Lumen had arrived via boat only but a few minutes before Furore did. He had made his long trip here on important business. That business being procuring valuable supplies for his journey to come. It had been some time since his last visit to Afai, so much to his delight, the scenery lifted his spirits. The gentle ocean breeze mingled with the warm embrace of the sunlight on the ground below
Creating a seemingly flawless ambiance of relaxation and peace.

Finally rousing himself from the awe induced by the majestic ocean view, Lumen began getting his bearings as to which way to head next. He knew he had to trek northward to reach his destination, but as to whether he should find a place to stay put for the remainder of the day or journey forth to the crown of the country weighed on his mind for a moment. Only to be distracted once again as his gaze fell on a white haired woman in a finely woven Blue and white attire. What had caught his eye was her forlorned expression. It appeared something was bothering her but as to what, he could not deduce quite yet.
In the end, his better nature got the best of him, as he decided to see if he could assist in raising the morale of what seemed to be a troubled soul. Promptly, Lumen approached.

Lumen became increasingly curious when he saw the fine maiden glance up and mutter something briefly, before quickly removing her glasses. He did not know what to make of it, but none the less, he continued.

"Greetings milady, I am Lumen Candeo."

In one quick, fluid, sincere movement, Lumen bowed in greeting before continuing.

"I do hope you can pardon my intrusion, but I could not help but notice your troubled look. Is something the matter? And if so, could I be of some assistance?"

Once again, Lumen was perplexed by the actions taken by the finely dressed woman. Knowing how dangerous it was to wander blindly near water, he quickly shrugged away his internal questions and pursued the white haired maiden.

"P-please milady! Slow down I beg of you! It is dangerous to wander about like that!"

Lumen wished not to do so, as it could be taken as a very informal, but alas, he extended his arm in hopes of catching Furore's shoulder.

Quickly lowering his head apologetically, Lumen cupped his hands together and spoke politely. It was clear to him now that he had been mistaken as someone else.

"Forgive me milady. I did not mean to startle you. And I certainly do not intend to take you back to your mother, whoever she may be. I merely saw you were distressed and hoped that I could be of service."

Lumen suddenly reminded of himself. He too hid from his own family. His relationship with his relatives was complicated to say the least, and that often made him reluctant to even think about them, let alone speak about them.

Lumen lowered his head and smiled reassuringly, his eyes closed gently in understanding of the situation.

"No harm done milady. If your brother has white hair like you I, which presumably he does. Than it is of no surprise you might mistake me for him at a glance. Forgive me for startling you. It was never my intent to frighten you away."

Bowing once again in greeting, Lumen's hair moved about for a second as he performed the fluid motion of greeting he done oh so many times before in the past.

"I am Lumen Candeo. I hope I can be of service to you milady."

(Okee dokee! If you need to pause or postpone this until another time, that's cool! There are plenty of weekends ^0^
Just say the word and we'll continue this another time. Whether that be later this evening or next week :D)

Smiling internally and externally, Lumen was delighted to be met with such a formal, warm greeting.

"Took the words right out of me Furore. It is a pleasure to meet you too."

Lumen bowed his head and chuckled. His face, alit with a friendly demeanor, was indeed framed by long, white hair. He took great pride in the grooming of his hair. So he was delighted to know it fit him. It was even more delightful to him that Furore had not mistaken him as a woman, which he so often was.

"Thank you milady. You are too kind. I try my best to make myself presentable. Lest I want to set a poor impression and sully my milords image."

I will state though that I go off to sleep around 11:30/12:30ish EST. So I may or may not be awake by then XD But by all means, send it anyway. I might still be awake come that time idk. It varies >3<

Lumen's face gave way to a grim expression for but a moment as his mind was reminded of the task that brought him all the way to afai. The supplies he needed to retrieve would be vital for him and his ' 'Crew' '. Instinctively, his expression quickly returned to one that displayed no sign of concern or worry.

"Oh, well I am here to procure myself some resources that only this country can provide. May I inquire you the same?"

Nodding in reply, Lumen relished a brief sea breeze that glanced by at the moment. Up above, one could hear seagulls voicing their approval of such fine flying weather.

"This place does have a way of putting people at ease. I for one almost forget all that ails me whenever I return here. It is truly a magical place."

Hesitating a moment, Lumen tried to weigh whether or not his asking another question might be rude. But his curiosity got the better of him and he began to speak.

"I really do not want to interrogate you further, but my interest is piqued......What were you looking for in Iclios? It is very dangerous to wander it's expanse. I have had a fair share of encounters there myself."

(Heyo! I gotta go for about an hour or an hour and a half. I promise I'll be back! When I'm back, I'll discord you! ^0^)

"I see.....I understand completely. If Lady Prima were to be pronounced deceased with little proof or explaination, I would search until Destria herself took me away...."

Lumen's eyes widened as realization of his uttering the name of his significant other. It was extremely embarrassing for him, as he usually preferred to keep his personal life private to people he just met. He blushed faintly at this blinder

"Er- I mean-W-well! I understand your plight completely!....."

Lumen did a faux cough to help bridge the awkward moment that just befell him.

"Ahem! Yes, but uhh...I would like to help if possible. Perhaps you could describe to them to me? That way, if I ever happen across someone by that description, I can inform you and them of the situation.....Er- That is, if it is not an inconvenience to you. I would hate to make you feel awkward talking about such things...."

(Darn typos. I mean't Blunder* not blinder xD)

Extremely greatful that his awkward mistake was overlooked, Lumen was able to clearly file away the description of the elven boy. His head nodding in acknowledgement. He tried to cross reference every bit of detail with people he had met. Nothing quite rang a bell at the moment. But perhaps it would come to him later.

Seeing the excitement on Furore's face made Lumen very happy. Although he did not do much, he was glad to have helped jog her memory on the matter.

"Tora.....Tora.....I will remember that name, I promise."

Lumen bowed his head and smiled. His hand rested on the front of his chest as he bowed in agreement.

"I would be delighted to celebrate with you milady. But please, allow me to pay. It is the least I could do."

Reaching into a flawlessly hidden pocket inside the arm of his robe, Lumen retrieved a small coin pouch and handed it to her.

"Here. This way, the drinks are still on you."

Chuckling softly, Lumen's head tilted to one side absent mindedly. A habit he often did without ever noticing.

"Some resturants provide wine and other assorted beverages along with their traditional menu. There is more than enough in that pouch for a bite to go with the drinks. And any resturant beats field rations."

"I understand. Tastes vary between people. I am sure there will be a fine array of brew."

Lumen followed Furore to the tavern. His feet barely made a sound as they touched the floor to push him further forward.
Taking a seat across from Furore, Lumen swept his seat off with a small handkerchief before sitting to ensure that his robes remained immaculate. After which he sighed in relief as the burden of gravity was lifted from his feet and now evenly distributed throughout him and the seat below him.

"Indeed. I too have been rather eager to take a seat. My feet protest against my overworking them."

To best keep himself in his right mind, Lumen gauged his drinks carefully by alternating as follows: Two glasses of water per glass of wine. This helped keep him sober whilst still enjoying the often intoxicating flavor and delight of fine wine. He smiled wearily at the youth. He was glad Furore was happy, but he couldn't help but be worried for her while she was in her current state.

"Well, I can escort you at least to the inn so that you might purchase yourself a room. I dare not leave you alone the way you ar-"

Being on high alert because of the nature of his traveling to Afai, Lumen's eyes darted violently toward the direction of the voice.

Lumen relaxed a tad now that it was apparent who the stranger was. He already had his theories as he took in the appearance of the man. But when he said ' 'Sis' ', it only confirmed what he thought. But just to be sure, he addressed Furore on the matter, still eyeing the white haired stranger.

"Furore, is this perhaps.....The brother you spoke of? Because if not......"

The attitude of the Alto was not to Lumen's liking, but nonetheless he kept his cool. Trying not to provoke the white haired youth.

"Is that so? How quaint."

Sipping from the wine glass with which Lumen held in the most floaty and formal of ways, he twisted a smile in reply. This was an attempt for a friendly smile but, it instead was more akin to that of an eerie grin. This was a trait he had gotten from his mother. The ability to be a tad spooky. Yet unlike his mother, he was no adept at controlling it.

(Okee dokee! I think calling it night would be a good idea actually. I am getting pretty tired and I think it's effecting my roleplaying :-; Perhaps next week at the same day and time? :D)

(Hiya hiya! :D Sorry I'm a bit late! I got a bit tied up in something rip xD)

Lumen eyed Alto, noting he did not request permission to sit at their table. It was something would never get caught dead doing. This was because of how strict his upbringing was, and how much Lumen valued etiquette over almost all else.

Momentarily, Lumen's eyes widen at Alto's assumption of it being a date. Raising a hand in preparation to explain that Furore and him were not dating, he was interrupted. Furore remedied the matter and spoke up first.

"Indeed she does. In fact, it is a perfect example of what true love is. I was trying to glean what I could from Furore's description of him, in hopes of identifying him myself during my many trips here and there."

Nodding in reply, Lumen spoke to Alto further on the matter.

"Why yes, I do. That is, when it is required of me at the decree of my master."

Lumen sipped at his wine once again. He was pleased to have spurred some friendly conversation. A look of knowing understanding fell over Lumen's face.

"I am no stranger to this. My mother and I.....Have a rather stark difference in oppinion.."

Lumen adjusted in his seat slightly, coughing to clear his throat before speaking.

"Different as in she thinks that I should be training to lead the household and those under it. Rather than serving others. She thinks it beneath me."

Quickly standing to his feet, Lumen's feet glided over the planks of the bar to Furore. Quickly, he held out a hand in hopes of stabilizing her.

"Please Furore, you are in no shape to travel alone. Please permit me or your brother to escort you to the inn so that you may recover from your intoxication."

With lightning reflexes, Lumen used his hands to steady/catch Furore before she fell over. His eyes darted violently toward Alto.

"Enough! I can tolerate many things, but this is too far. You could have hurt her-your own sister. Explain yourself. Now."

Perhaps he was being overprotective, thought Lumen. But in the end, he didn't care. To him the action taken just now was jostile and uncalled for.

*wild bush sneaks onto the scene*
