Hanahaki disease is a fictional disease where the victim coughs or vomits flowers because they are suffering from one-sided love. The only way to cure it is if the other person returns their feelings. The flowers can be surgically removed but then the host will lose their feelings for the other person and sometimes lose the ability to fall in love.
