@Mikaharu> Hey there! Nice job, I still love all the tiny details in your art... Like the eyebrow hair. And the dust specks in the air. And... you get the point.
The uneven lighting looks awesome, like how the sunlight reflects off the ground and lights us from underneath, I don't think I've ever seen another artist who has captured that... Even if you weren't trying to.
I'm still around, now working on the sequel to my Miiverse story, "Trial of Heroes".
I missed you around your birth day, but believe me, I understand how busy life is, between work, college (for you), and every thing else!
I'd love to catch up with you, but I respect that you just can't keep up with everybody. Keep goin' strong, Mika!
@Mika> Oh, ha ha! Just noticed your comment on my upload. As soon as I saw your art, I made a mad dash to your profile and forgot notifications were a thing (now).
Colors! has improved a good deal from my early days with it, I can't speak for the old Colors!, but it looks like they're accepting the fact that it's nearly a proper social network now!
In reply... Shading rocks. It really puts depth and life into art, although for laziness and time constraints, I reserve proper shading for the extra-special drawings. Line sketches for life, baby! xD
@Mikaharu> Ha ha! There you are still, with your kind words. Heh, I hope you know that you're one of the reasons I'm where I am today. So much has happened, so much has changed... On the outside, I'm still the same person, but I've had a lot of things going on on the inside. You know how it is, ups and downs, but I ended up getting fired/quitting from Taco Bell last summer. The people and atmosphere were bad for me, so I started fresh at Sonic... I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say, my 4-wheel-drive still works, and my heart is set on Sonic. Shortly after I got the job, the big boss man said if I stay with the company long enough (5-10 years, ish) I could possibly get my own store. It feels awesome to be worth something again, even if I don't rate my own value on that.
I don't really care about my old MV posts, but I'll definitely check that out and see if they're still there! xD
I'm absolutely looking up your post, 'The People I Have Met and Seen Through You'.
@Mika> I checked it out! Ha ha, I think I recognize a few of those people myself, is that Grizz in the top left? And I might recognize the 'Wanna Fight?' top-right corner guy, can't remember his name, gah.
And the pink shirt girl, Alysa or something, she was a good kid. Now I'm remembering the kinds of ridiculous friends and acquaintances I had there... Good times, indeed. xD
And that guy in the bottom left corner, I swear he looks familiar... somehow... Kinda like that guy in the mirror when I'm shaving, thinking about it. xD
Agh, I don't even know what to say! It's great to be able to talk with you again, pal!
Which reminds me, that girl Maru in my drawing, I can thank you for having met her... She's a good friend, through ACNL. And you're the one who started me on that game. So, with my whole heart, thank you!
If you ever wanna doodle/yack like we used to, just hit me up on here. I'm up mostly at night now, and work is keeping me busy most of the time,
@Mika> Nah, don't be sorry for what happened! It's true according to Romans 8:28, ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God!
Been at Sonic for a year now, and all that overtime pay has scored me a second car (never selling my Explorer though)! God's got me covered, for sure.
AH YES, RBG, I REMEMBER NOWWW! Such good times! xD
It's hard to think of ourselves having been so immature, but at the same time, it's really hard to say whether we've changed at all... Just gotten busy with adulthood. Does any one ever actually grow up? :P
Drawing on the computer, excellent! Learning a new medium always comes with new advantages and of course tools to work (ahem, play) with, and that's the point of art!
Oil painting, that's a medium that will likely never die! Gotta love the classics! And sculpting a clay figure of an O.C, that must have been super great! You've really been moving on along, it's awesome to see a friend's hard work bringing success!
Watercolors... have never been my forte. Too messy for me, just give my pencil back! xD
Playing with 'em is the only way to get the feel for 'em though, but who am I talking to? You know this. xP
Illustration, ah! I so love to share in your victories, thanks for letting me be a part of this!
I've had a number of ups and downs myself... Primarily the downs have come from the ups. My cars have become my form of art, and I've been getting some, er, unwanted attention from the police lately... But I'm being more careful with it now, so nothing to worry about there!
Things always get better and worse, some times it goes hand in hand (like working all the time - I'm never home, but I got the $ to spend on my cars!), it'll even out in due time. Just be sure to use time well, when it's yours - relationships with family and friends can't be bought with money!
Here's me cheering you on, Mika! Go get 'em, sister!
@Mikaharu> I hope things are still going well for you! It's been a long time since I've been on here. Adult life sure finds ways of keeping us busy.
I thought I'd catch you up on a few things... Firstly, I've been in a steady relationship for several years now with a sweet girl who is also an artist. She's going to college for a degree in art.
Incidentally, I met her on ACNL, which you introduced me to on Miiverse, so many long years ago. (Where does the time go?) In that sense, it's thanks to you that I met her!
@Mikaharu> I'm nearly finished with my Ford Explorer project now. It feels like I was just a kid when I bought it in 2017. Now it's lifted, running big, fat tires, living the dream, baby! Even had a sound system for a while, but took it out after burning up an amplifier. It feels good to reap the rewards of your labors.
As we go on our separate ways, I like to think our friendship with each person was time well spent, developing and maturing ourselves and helping to mature the others. Our influence, even the smallest bit, shapes people's lives.
@Mikaharu> Never lose that strong fire to do right, fight the flow, and follow morality. You've been one of the people who gave me hope for humanity in this grim world.
People ultimately tend to fall into two roles in life: Producers, and Consumers. The Producers are like you and me, the deeper thinkers, the ones who devise ideas, make art, write stories, design things... The Consumers just look at things and use things, without thinking about who came up with them, or how they work.
We so often get surrounded by the Consumers that we lose sight of the other Producers.
Every generation has its heroes. Always be a Batman, not a bystander!
P.S. Thanks for everything. All my friends on Miiverse were special to me; not all of life was pleasant during those times. But I thank you personally, not just for being my friend, but on behalf of all the others to whom you were a friend in time of need, no matter how small.
@Vibanib Hey, how have you been? I haven't been around here in a long time. I've been thinking about some old times (and old art) recently.
I'm not sure how to say hi, after being away for so long. I hope you've been doing well, and I trust that your art and social skills, as well as your work ethic, have brought you much success over these years!
I met a fine lady with whom I have been speaking for a few years, and we hope to be married some time in the future.
If you care to catch up some time, I might take for ever to check back here, but you can reach me on a few other platforms.
I remember the old times, when between work and friends, all that seemed to matter was drawing pictures of cars and O.C's, and getting better at it. I searched you up on the Web and found plenty of your art, new and old, and some of it sure was a walk down ol' memory lane. Miiverse, SmileBasic, Flipnote... The world didn't seem like it was on rails, then.
I still have that old Ford Explorer I used to draw. It's been beaten up and rebuilt a couple of times since then, ha ha!
I'd love to hear about your studies and situation, and whatever else you have to share, if you ever feel like it!
For whatever this may be worth to you, you're a meaningful person in my life story. People and memories come and go, but you're one of the ones who has made a lasting difference.
Vibanib, Mikaharu, Sproutima I think you're going by these days - I haven't forgotten you.
Life has taken a few turns since I last spoke to you. My father passed away from lung cancer, my job situation has greatly improved, and I have finally come to understand what it is that people mean when they say that they are in love.
'23 has been a wild ride, let's hope for an even better '24!

like college is for you, but for a good old friend, I'll MAKE time!
I think I've gone on long enough at this point, so I'll leave it at that.
How've you been? Learn a lot while we've been our separate ways? How much college have you got left, and are you getting along into your career yet?
No pressure, you don't have to answer all the questions, but I'd love to catch up!
Take it easy, keep on truckin', and NEVER LOSE YOUR FIRE!
