depends on who and what is being used,
I find that a lot of ppl have varying power sets that don't always fit with what I have, so it can get difficult for me to rp with others xP

Waves crashed against the rocks, as a light breeze blew from the ocean reaching both it's sandy and rough shores. Grey stormy clouds off in the distance indicating that a storm was brewing. Euterpe sighed and watched as the clouds encroached, as well as keeping a good eye on Shephard who had wadded into the water to look for shells.

Airiah was walking on the hot sand, while little Nina splashed around in the water, the two in their humanoid forms. Airiah made her way towards two figures in the distance, she could almost make out their features.

She had to stop every so often though, to call Nina and wait for the little runt to catch up to her.

I feel ya, rustiness and then the heat, fried my brain xD

{From the opposite side of the beach came the sound of metallic clanking and the sound of a child's laughter. From the treeline walks a strange metal creature with a little girl on its back. As the unusual pair approached the beach, the girl waves at Euterpe and Shepard.}

Merewen: "Helllloooooooo!"

Heat waves are the worst. Especially in the desert. 106F during the day Oof

I live in Canada, nowhere near a desert, thank the Lord

I thought the climate in Canada was relatively cool. What temperature is it over there?

Huh. Ok, for a heat wave up there, that makes sense.

Surprised at the sudden greeting Euterpe jumped. The dragoness yelped and lept foreward into the air. She didn't remain above the ground for long though and ended up landing into the water beside Shephard.
Shephard who was a bit off guard himself shielded himself against the sudden and large splash that his friend caused.

Ofcourse his block didn't do much and the boy ended up getting soaked in salt water. Euterpe gave him one look and then turned her towards the origin of the noise. Shephard mumbled something ignoring the "audience" that was on the shore.
He had a conch shell in his arms, which he seemed pretty proud of, though not so eager to share with the newcomers.

Airiah kept her distance for now, she didn't want to bring Nina into any potential danger, so she got within listening range for herself. She always had sensitive hearing and crouched in the sand, her pale feathers and appearance helping disguise her...

Not so much for Nina though, she had bright greenish-blue tropical colors and was being noisy as she played in the water. Unaware of others at the moment.

(So,the order is Alkaline, Blood,then me, right?)

{Merewen burst into laughter upon seeing Euterpe's reaction. Dismounting her companion, she walks to the shoreline, just before the water. The girl was dressed in a ragged and dirty dress, and her many efforts to repair her garments were clear from the numerous, mismatched patches and shoddy sewing job on burst seams. However, she seemed as happy as ever.}

Merewen: "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you! I was just excited. I'm Merewen! Who are you?"

{Her companion, however, was not so amiable. The creature just stared intently at the pair, its emotionless, molten eye glaring at the dragoness and her young companion.}

Shephard stood his ground while Euterpe cowered a bit behind him. She didn't like the creature standing behind Merewen, and was espresso suspicious as to why it was traveling with a little girl.
"She doesn't like surprises." Muttered Shephard who slowly started to move his shell put of sight. "I'm Shephard, but you can call me Shep." He said holding out his hand.
Euterpe snorted at his gesture towards the girl. "A storms coming we should find some shelter." Sbe whispered.

I'm gonna go, it's late here and I got work tomorrow, see ya later
