So Luke was gonna be kind of an anti-hero. He'd only help if it got his dad's forces off his back, or kept his mom safe. Jezebel became his partner/spy after he saved her. She'd complain about doing good deeds, but ultimately would become Luke's closest friend.
...Then I scrapped the idea. x'D

@Noir_V Well, I've been drawing Luke for a while now. He's halfdemon, I think the term's kambian? However you spell it. :'D He wears a cloak that sprouts tentacles/tendrils that can lash enemies. His father wants him to rule by his side cuz hybrids tend to be super strong, but Luke wants nothing to do with him. But basically, he's a tough little boy ( teen, now ).

Jezebel was going to be his partner before I changed Luke's story. She was gonna be sort of a love interest for him, eventually getting cleansed of her demon essence and turning into a human. But she'd still have all her sass, lol. xD
