Even as a Nintendo enthusiast, I sometimes like to ponder in specific third party series and characters once in a while.
And in my honest opinion, I feel Klonoa is one of the most underapreciated videogame characters in this current years.
His 2 main titles are really great and solid platformers, excelled in art direction and storytelling.
It's been 10 years since the Wii remake of the first game, and I really wish Bandai Namco did something for the series. (But nope, apparently anime-licensed games make more money for them I guess).
I feel Klonoa would fit pretty well as a Smash Bros. character if they decide to add another Bandai Namco character alongside Pac-Man.

I really miss Klonoa. Bandai Namco... Why you abandoned this series? They need to bring the series back.

i've only recently gotten invested in the klonoa series, but it's always interested me, and i love it so much.. i remember there was something on twitter a few years(?) or so back maybe? idk exactly, one of the namco devs asked if there was interest in a klonoa 3, but theres been nothing since then so i doubt they're actually working on it

Thanks to Klonoa's Phantasy Reverie Series there's hope for his future to pan out greater things, I'm glad to finally own his main series 2 games in one on the Nintendo Switch! C:
