Mostly a study for myself.
I wanted to figure out the mechanics of their anatomy without making them look too human while upright.
Here you can also sorta tell how a male and female would differ. But it's nothing too terribly drastic
I'll link some of my references in a sec.
Please try to keep the same anatomy if you plan to draw your elvira this way.
I may even offer to doodle your elvira upright if you need more examples.
You can probably imagine why they choose to walk like this sometimes.

I also recommend studying normal lizards, alligators etc to get a better idea of their shapes for accuracy.
edit: found these while thinking more on it lol

oo the anatomy is good!!
it feels like it was made by a big company
basically i'm saying it's legit looking
like with the elongated necks and short legs (the consistency)
re: ok a day has been mentioned that's even better, i hope i don't overthink too much during this ahahha
