Well, I made the background and foreground first, then added the subject in the middle, I used shades of blue and purple for darkening areas and tones of pink and purple for highlighting and gradient up to the light source. I used low opacities for making and shading the clouds cause clouds be like that(kind of opaque but spread out or thin parts are translucent) um, the light source is solid white, so it sticks out and looks intense. The intense light won't be completely blocked by the blob so the light wraps around parts of the body. (using a low opacity, I highlighted the edges of the subject with a tone that matches the color of the light source.) in places where the light isn't blocked it leaks through and highlights the clouds.
