The roof wasn't any different. Still, quiet, and there sat who he had to meet. Her brown hair was tucked behind one ear and the rest was draped over her shoulder. The boy stopped, far above him swirled a dark blob. He stood there and just, stared. Which sounds ridiculous but that's what he did. She was beautiful, but not in a way that would capture everyone's attention.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." The boy took a step back, usually he was quiet enough that no one knew he was there. The girl turned her body a little, revealing tan arms covered in white tattoos. Swirls and signs that almost looked like a language. "Well are you?"
The boy snapped out of looking at her arms and met her eyes, "am I what?"
She smiled, "gonna take that picture?" He shook his head, and the woman let out a laugh. She sat there and took a drink of her coffee, her expression serious now, "why did you summon me here?" She raised an eyebrow.
The boy swallowed, his knees quaking, "he's back." Everything seemed to stop. No one breathed, no birds chirped, nothing. Everything was deathly still and quiet.
"That's not possible." The woman shook her head as if to get rid of the thought.
"I've seen him."
She snapped her head to him and asked abruptly, "where?!" He pointed to his left, the exact view she had been looking out at. "About three or four blocks that way." She stood quickly and growled, "you fool!! You summoned me here in his territory!" A flash, and she was gone.
