fellow banjo-kazooie bros! WE DID IT!
so during the coming days of the E3 conferences and seeing that smash only had 5 invites to give out, I was kinda losing hope of seeing banjo appear in smash. then i saw a tweet from a journalist of what looked like banjo's backpack and kazooie's bottom area so I thought "new banjo game?" and because it's microsoft, I wasn't really hyped for it but regardless, I wanted to see the xbox conference and hopefully the new banjo game won't be a dissapointment this time. But i was pretty hyped for the new animal crossing trailer! So i was watching the the xbox confress looking out for anything banjo aaand.. There was nothing. I was really upset that they did all this banjo merch for clickbait. Then I thought "theres still tomorrow i guess?"
So now I'm watching the direct and so far some pretty good games and we got the hero in smash and then ANIMAL CROSSING!!! deep down I felt like it was going to be delayed. AND IT WAS but I'm perfectly fine with that UvU at least we got a trailer and a date! Towards the end of the direct, we're getting another character in smash and i see its taking place in DK's place again. At this point my hype pretty much died due to AC:NH's getting delayed so I assumed we were getting dixie kong or some other kong.
and THERE WAS A FREAKING JIGGY! i literally started squirming around yelling "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" THEN I SAW THEIR SILHOUETTE AND I WAS SCREAMING INTO MY PILLOW (cont in comments)

AND WHEN THEY FELL FROM THE SKY, I went into shock and went silent through out their trailer. my heart was beating so fast that I couldn't feel my heart anymore which resulted in me suffering a panic attack lmao and I was shaking so hard like my brain was trying to figure out a way how to react to this?? around 7PM, my shock went away and I started crying hysterically as if I just witnessed a cat getting run over (its not a good sight btw :'/ ) like w tf?? and my entire body was aching and I was still kinda shaky.. Is this what it feels like to get your favorite character into smash??
