Somewhere on the continent Crestlydora of the Land of Dreams, a large manticore walks down a lonely, untraveled road; on one side is the small startings of a forest, while on the other is a wide clearing. Ruhiger Traum is this Dreamer's name, an Obsidian Dreamer around the age of thirty or so, I haven't decided yet, but despite his age, he walks with a limp from the scarred Pearl on his left foreleg and hangs his head slightly. His deep blue eyes are full of grief and the bags underneath them suggest he hasn't had a restful sleep in a while, but he keeps his wings and scorpion tail ready to either fly or strike, as if he's expecting something to jump out of him at any moment... His green monarch Fairfin, Laut, flies ahead of him, occasionally glancing back to his partner and making silent charades every now and then.

(I'm thinking Rui's kinda in the middle of the continent from the Land of Dreams, heading down towards the desert area)

My day has been busy, I have been going since 10am this morning and just now, almost 8pm. I finally get to sit down and relax

SO I'm tired, but I really wanna rp xD

I'm here for some fun, with my timid and lost colt :D

On that same, untraveled road, another lone Obsidian Dreamer was making his way to his next destination. Echodream was /also/ around the age of thirty or so, I haven't decided yet. However, he was in his true form, a slight spring to his step as he hummed a tune to himself and glanced around at the scenery.

(And I have a German manticore with trauma X'D )

(Wow, that's quite a while! I'm glad you're finally getting a break too, Blood!

And I have a singing actor Dreamer who may or may not RP within the RP.

I think we're gonna have an interesting time. X'D)

A young royal Vaseterm was just walking through the small startings of a forest, he somehow didn't even see the trail. He had his wings neatly folded on his back as he walked along at a fairly quick pace.

He looked around 18-20 years old and he was wearing an obnoxiously bright yellow backpack. Holding the straps tightly in his hands, //I have no idea where I am// He thinks, not really paying attention to anything as he trampled through the little bit of undergrowth.

Ruhiger glances up again when Laut telepathically alerts him of a couple things: he first perks his ears up and glances into the forest, quickly taking notice of something strange off in the distance with bright golden colors, but he assumes that with colors like those, whatever it is certainly can't be a Nightmare... Then the colorful manticore looks ahead and spots the other Obsidian Dreamer coming his way, and he relaxes his posture... just a little. He isn't sure at the moment if stopping to chat is the best idea at the moment, but for now, he just keeps walking, waiting to get closer before saying anything.

Echo went quiet and slowed his pace when he noticed someone heading towards him on the road. He silently debated with himself whether or not talking with this stranger was a wise decision...
...He'd been traveling on his own for a couple of days now, and he /did/ need to make sure he was heading the right way...
"...Hello, stranger!" He gave a friendly greeting, picking up his pace again so they wouldn't be shouting at each other.
...However, he caught a flash of bright, colors in the corner of his eye, which made him slow down again and pin his ears back slightly.
"Hm... Thar be gold in that there forest."

Levi started to space out, still walking along, not bothering to hide his very flashy appearance or be quiet in his approach. He finally took notice of the Dreamer and Manticore, "An oversized housecat and another one of those funny lookin' deer" he slowed only a moment, //Should I shift? Appear like an animal too?// he changed his direction slightly, now heading right for Ruhiger.

"Hallo, stranger," Ruhiger calls back to Echo, walking at the same rate he had been until he finally stands before the other Dreamer. He sees how Echo pins his ears back and looks to the forest, and so he looks back there as well, raising an eyebrow as Levi approaches him. "Yah, that there is," the Obsidian manticore says with quite the accent, "But vee are rather bright and colorful ourselves, vee stick out just as much as he does."
Ruhiger then calls out to Levi much like he did Echo, saying, "Hallo there."

"True, true..." Echo nodded, speaking in a different accent of his own--just for the fun of it. His ears perked up now as Levi started approaching them. "Hey there." He nodded to the very flashy person, losing his accent. "I didn't expect to come across so many travelers on this desolate road...
Do either of you know the way to Armonia?"

"Hallo" Levi mimics, with a very boyish grin on his face. He thought it was funny the way the two were speaking. He looks to Echo, "I don't even know where I am!" Levi throws his arms up, "I've not seen any other Vaseterm! Anywhere! I just keep seeing funny looking deer like you!" he points at Echo

Ruhiger flicks an ear at Echo's question, but doesn't say anything at first as Levi speaks up, instead using this time to look over the strange young man before him. //A Vaseterm? Here, in zee Land of Dreams? And by his appearance--zat gemshtone on his chest, his flashy clothes--he is a Royal? I never once thought I vould meet one in person, as zey said, zey are rare... But vat is he doing here, prancing around in his bright colors, announcing his kind to strangers? How is he not dead?// Ruhiger Traum ponders, but he keeps those questions to himself, simply replying to Echo first by pointing his tail and jerking his head in the direction he came from, "Armonia? That vould be that way, friend. I just came from that direction."

The manticore then plays dumb and looks back to Levi, tipping his head slightly and asking, "Excuse me, but, Vaseterm? What is a Vaseterm? And do you not know vat a Dreamer is?"

(He's not dead because Shadow isn't here xD)

"You're lost too?

...Do I look funny? I didn't think I looked funny..." Echodream muttered, taking one ribbon and running it down his mane, like he was making sure it was straight.
He gave Ruhiger a nod when he pointed him to Armonia, "Thanks, friend! That's what I thought..."

But rather than move on, he turned back to look at Levi. The Dreamer waited until after Rui spoke, also looking somewhat relieved to hear what the manticore said. He took it as confirmation that he wasn't, in fact, funny looking.
"I don't know what a Vaseterm is either... Where did you come from?"

(Yeah, pretty much. X'D)

Levi patiently listened to the two speak, waiting until both were done. "No I don't know 'vat' a Dreamer is" He frowns, "A Vaseterm is what I am!" he takes off his backpack and sets it down. He then shifts to his true form and prances around in a circle, showing off his flashy appearance.

"And that's about it" Levi stops and nods, not mentioning he was a royal, well because, he didn't know he was one or that there are different kinds of Vaseterm. But he did know he could summon a giant cat.

"I don't know where I came from, I just kinda wander" Levi tips his head, gesturing to Echo, "So you're a Dreamer? Not just a funny looking deer?" his ears were pricked up, angled towards Echo. "Then what are you?" He looks back to Ruhiger.

"Of course," Ruhiger simply replies to Echodream when he's thanked, but then he quickly looks back to Levi and apologizes, "Ah, pardon my accent, I try to dial it back when meeting new faces, but sometimes it slips in regardless."

Again, what Levi says and does gets Ruhiger thinking, and he briefly glances to his Fairfin. //He doesn't truly know vat he is, hmm? You do not know ze danger you are in... This is very concerning, durch den Monden, it's a miracle you're alive, boy...//

But Ruhiger just as quickly puts those thoughts aside as Levi looks at him and asks his question, and answers, "I am also a Dreamer, however at the moment I am in my manticore form. My true form is a 'funny-looking deer,' just like him," he uses a ribbon to point at Echo, "Dreamers are a shapeshifting race, we can take on many forms, though we can only choose so many." He then goes to offer his right ribbon to Levi for a sort of hand shake out of habit, but then remembers that Levi doesn't have ribbons to begin with and wouldn't know what a Dreamer's handshake is, so he offers it out to Echo instead, looking between the Dreamer and the Vaseterm as he introduces himself and his Fairfin, "My name is Ruhiger Traum, meaning Quiet Dream. And this here, is my bond partner, Laut. He's a very Noisy one."

Laut had been hanging around Ruhiger's head for the most part, but upon being introduced, he rolls his eyes at his partner before shaking his head and tapping his mouth, as if to say he can't speak.

(I had a snack and got pulled away there for a sec XP )

Echo's eyes widened just slightly, seeing Levi's true form--he'd seen plenty of other equine-like species before, but nothing quite as... Shiny and flashy as a Vaseterm. "Whoo. Shiny." He commented.

However, when he was called 'funny-looking' not just once, but twice, he let out a quiet snort. "I don't think we're /that/ funny-looking..."
...At the very least, he understood now that there wasn't anything wrong with his face.

That sour attitude didn't last long, though, as he accepted Ruhiger's 'ribbon-shake' with a smile, "Nice to meet both of you! I'm Echodream--vocalist and performer--and my bond partner..." He glanced back to his mane, "...Melody, how about you come out and say hi?"

A tiny green mouse Fairfin slowly poked her head out from Echo's cloud mane. For a while, all anyone could actually see was her little nose. ".........Hi........" She squeaked, already starting to shyly shrink back into the fluff.

Levi sniffed at the ribbon extended to him, //What does he want me to do with that?// it was when Echo shook his ribbon with his ribbon, Levi pieced it together. //Oh, don't have those things//

The young royal pinned his ears back, "I'm sorry, it's rude of me to call you 'funny looking deer'" he dips his head, "Please forgive my rudeness, I just get so excited over new species, that I forget my manners"

"It's nice to meet you though!" Levi straightens up, "Ruhiger Traum and Laut" he nods to the Dreamer-Manticore. "Echodream and Melody" He nods to the Dreamer, his way of greeting in his true form.

"My name is Levi!" The stallion greets cheerfully, "And it's just me, I don't have a bond partner" He then tilts his head to one side. "What is a bond partner?" he noticed the Fairfins were tiny and pet like, "Are they your pets? Talking pets? Or are they shapeshifters too?"

Ruhiger chuckles quietly at Levi's apology, and Echo's sour face, sighing as he waves it off with his ribbon and saying, "It's quite fine, I don't hold grudges." He nods in return to the Vaseterm, "It's nice to meet you too, Levi, Echodream. I certainly didn't expect to meet a travelling performer anytime soon, or a... Vaseterm, someone from another Realm."

Ruhiger then stretches his wings out some and tips his head slightly up as Levi asks his questions, and answers, "Mmm, no, they are not pets, they're not shapeshifters eizer, Fairfin are very important to the Dreamer race, they support our magic abilities and they keep..." He suddenly pauses and goes quiet, thinking about what he was going to say next, and glances over at Laut again...

//Rui, will you be alright talking about this?// Laut asks through both telepathy and signing it out.

And Ruhiger just nods slowly to his Fairfin before looking back to the Royal Vaseterm. "Levi, do you know vat Nightmares are...?"

"...Ah, it's alright." Echodream replied to Levi's apology, "Any new thing can be funny.
It's nice to meet you too, Levi, in all your sparkling glory." He grinned, chuckling a little.

He went quiet as Ruhiger proceeded to explain Fairfin. In the meantime, he reached up to his mane with one ribbon, trying to coax Melody back out again.
Eventually, he did get his partner to move to his head and sit between his right ear and cloud mane.

When Rui went quiet, a frown came across Echo's face. He was pretty sure he knew what was coming next. The Dreamer's ears folded back a little when the question was asked, but he stayed completely silent.

Melody just patted him on the head with her little paws.

Levi leaned his head forward a bit, his ears straining to listen and absorb what he was being told. He frowned however when Ruhiger paused and then finally asked him a question.

"Of course I know what a Nightmare is!" Levi snorts, leaning back. "I've had plenty of them, bad dreams where scary, scary things happen. Pretty much your worst fears come to life. I don't like them, but I think those dreams you have where you fall /in/ the dream and then jolt awake, scrambling to stop yourself from hitting the ground are the absolute worst!" Levi nods, "Worse than any Nightmare in my opinion, those dreams always leave me wide awake with my heart racing

"No... I'm talking about zee... The creatures, Nightmares..." Ruhiger Traum somberly replies, his tired blue eyes seemingly more tired now--or perhaps more sad--than they were as he slowly sits down and explains, "Nightmares... are Dreamers who have been corrupted by dark, evil magic... Zey become heartless monsters with black pelts, glowing eyes... Their chests hollow out and are filled with dark flames and smoke, and zey live only to hunt and kill people... Particularly ze ones zey used to love..." Ruhiger looks down at the Pearl on his left paw as he speaks--the Pearl that's scarred slightly off-colored compared to his others, and he goes quiet as he thinks about what he should or shouldn't say next... "The Fairfin... protect us, in a way, from this... disease... A Dreamer who shows the first signs of Nightmare Syndrome, can be saved if their Fairfin burns the sickness away, and in return, we love and protect our Fairfin as though they are our family, one cannot live without the other..."

After saying this, Ruhiger Traum pauses again, and slowly looks back up at Levi with a thoughtful, almost worried look and asks: "... Did you underschtand any of that?"

As Ruhiger explained Nightmares, Echo's expression seemed to mimic his. He even shivered a little with Rui's description.

Echo followed the manticore's line of sight to his scarred pearl. //...What's this guy's story...?// He felt a slight need to know, but he knew better than to pry into something like that...
With his last comments about Fairfin being like family, Echo reached up with his ribbon once again and gently nudged Melody. The little Fairfin grabbed her partner's ribbon and hugged it.

"We're lucky to have Fairfin." Echodream suddenly blurted, "They're real lifesavers..."

(I think I'm gonna have to head to bed pretty soon. But I'd be up for continuing this sometime if you guys would be!)

(...And I'm not just saying that and then never following through with it like all the other times in these. X'D)

(Yeah, it's getting really late, but I've been having a blast with these kids, I'd love to continue, either tomorrow or some other time XD )

Levi listened attentively to Ruhiger, following the Manticore's gaze to his cracked pearl. His ears twitched as he processed everything behind said, he had never encountered a Nightmare before, based off the description he was given.

"I understand" Levi nods slowly, "I'm happy you've got your Fairfins to keep you safe, that's good" he slowly raises his gaze to meet Echo's and then Ruhiger's. "I'm glad I can't become a Nightmare or corrupted...at least, I think I can't become one" he pulls a face.

"I hope I never encounter one of those Nightmare things" Levi says aloud to himself. He shakes his head, "Anyway! Where are you heading Ruhiger?" he would ask Echo, but he already knew where the Dreamer was going or at least, supposed to be going.

(Okay! No worries~)

"That they are..." Ruhiger quietly agrees with Echo, glancing back to his own Fairfin for a moment before nodding his head to Levi. "You're a lucky one indeed if you never meet a Nightmare face to face, you vill be spared from a lot of heartache and pain..." the Dreamer-Manticore says, but then he holds his head up a little higher and stands up again as he continues, saying, "Ah, in that vay, I am much like you, I've just been wandering from place to place, though I know my vay around better."
//Of course, I can't shtay in one place long, not vith her following me... I schouldn't have shtopped to talk with these two, I'm only putting zem in danger... But Levi is putting us all in danger vithout even realizing it, vat can I do? Zi isn't the only one watching me...// Ruhiger then debates, not showing any of his inner turmoil in his face, but casually glances over at Echodream again and smiles faintly, asking, "You said you are a performer and vocalist, yah? Is that why you are headed for Armonia? Is that where your next performance is?"

(Colors ate mah spaces)

(It's always hungry.)

Echodream retained his slightly saddened look, but once the conversation shifted, he went back to a smile. "Mmhm! Well, that was the next place I was going to try getting a performance at. I've heard it's a hotspot for tourists, and a good place to earn money..."
He paused, then made a suggestion, "...But if both of you don't really know where you're headed, maybe we could travel together for a while? Safety in numbers...?"

(I gotta go for a bit!)

(Alright! See you!)

Levi's head kept swiveling to who was talking at the time. He gave a small, excited, hop. "Yeah! Let's travel together! Pretty please!" He acts much like a colt with how he's excitedly tapping his hooves as he prances in place.

"I don't know anything about this world and like Echodream said, we would be safer together!" Levi is barely keeping his voice an even tone, "Especially if a Nightmare comes along! I can fight! And you can teach me, Ruhiger you know so much and both of you are the first to ever talk to me here! Please, please, please! Pretty please!"

Ruhiger Traum goes quiet as Echo and Levi both suggest travelling together, and he starts plotting out all the different pros and cons to this in his head... //Vith Levi in his current appearance, the Devil of zee Night might as vell show up any minute now, and shurely Void must know about our little meeting by now, Zi is shtill out there somewhere, I know she is, she's alvays after me, and alvays she brings trouble vith her...//

//Woah, partner, maybe you could help Levi out at least a little? Ah, uh, get him to shift back and change his clothes maybe?// Laut chimes in telepathically, //A-and I'm sure ya could deal with Zinny if she shows up again... You'd just have some exaplainin' to do...//

//But zey don't know about her, explaining zat in zee heat of battle vould be a chaotic mess, and zey wouldn't have zee time to process vat I'd tell them about her!// Ruhiger silently replies back to his Fairfin, glancing over at him before looking back to Levi and Echo with a faint smile. //Aaahh, I can try though... Zi, please don't come for me now...//

"I suppose vee can travel together, I am well trained for battle, so I vill be able to handle a majority of threats that could arise, if any decide to rear their ugly heads anyway," he casually remarks, though his eyes still carry that tired, sad look that they've had this whole time, "I vill--I will say though, Levi, if we're headed into a city, you might want to rethink your appearance, with such pretty colors on your pelt, you might get all sorts of unwanted attention from the ladies."

I will say though, it might take me a long time to do a picture for any of them, but I'll be thinking about what I can do for them story-wise. Unless you'd rather someone who'd draw them more to get the characters :s )

"I can... I can fight too." Echodream nodded--he was probably the least experienced out of all three of them, but he knew he wasn't completely incapable...
"This'll be great! We can watch out for each other, and show you around the Land of Dreams..." He pointed at Levi with his ribbon.
He went quiet briefly, noticing how downcast Rui looked as he spoke. Then he brought up Levi's colorful appearance.
"...Oh yeah, with how shiny you are, you'd be attracting ladies from a mile radius.
...And maybe birds, too. Or some dragons." The Dreamer was partially joking to try and lighten the mood.

On the other hand, he was partially /not/ joking. He knew how serious some creatures could get about shiny things.
"Do you have another form? Or maybe you need a disguise..."

Levi barely avoids squealing with excitement, a squeak does escape him though, "Yay! I finally have travelling buddies! This is gonna be so much FUN!"

He shifts to his human form and picks his backpack up, putting it back on. "These are the only forms I've got" he spreads out large decorative wings. "Why is it only me who has to hide my flashy appearance? You guys are kinda flashy in your own ways" he points between the two. "How come you won't attract ladies or dragons?" He raises a brow

Ruhiger can't help but feel a small twinge of guilt in his heart when he sees just how excited and happy Levi is, but he just keeps smiling as the Vaseterm shifts back to his human form. //He doesn't have anyting to hide his royal colors... Vee vill go to zee city and die...// Rui thinks optimistically, then says, "Oh, I'm sure me and our actor friend here will, no doubt about it, but I'm a scarred up mess, and I am used to the attention; I don't sink a foreigner who doesn't even know where he is needs to stir up a ruckus on his first trip to a city. Especially considering zee fact zat no one has likely seen a Vaseterm, or one of your kind before. Echo, on zee other hand..." he smirks faintly and pats the other Dreamer on the back with his ribbon, "Needs all zee attention he can get, after all, zee more ladies and birds and dragons he attracts, zee more money he makes with his performances, yah?"

He then notices his Fairfin doing one of his charades in front of him, slowly floating down as if he's sinking... and he realizes the meaning behind that, and adds, "Ah, again, I let my accent slip. My apologies."

Seeing Levi's excitement, Echo couldn't help but grin a little himself. He was happy to have travelling buddies too--and not just for the protection.
"Oh, I've attracted dragons before... That was just in my alternate form, though."
When Ruhiger spoke up, Echo couldn't help but wonder about his scars. //He said he was trained for battle. Maybe he's a Shadow Hunter... Where else could he have gotten scars like that?// He even found himself wondering about Vaseterm, and why they had never seen one before.

But with Rui's comments about his performances, Echo's grin turned into a cheesy one. "Heheh, yeah!
...Just so long as nobody comes flying at me."

(...I think I'm gonna have to head out for the night pretty soon again. XP)

Levi was too excited to care or know better as to why he shouldn't attract a crowd. "Hey! I can help Echo attract people to his performance! And any money I make, I'll share with you all" he's absolutely beaming with positivity.

"Mmm, fair point," Ruhiger admits, quickly realizing that there's no way he's going to get Levi to wear a disguise without possibly telling him that there's a Devil in the Land of Dreams, which that kind of information would only put them all in more danger... so he starts trying to think of other ways to go about this. "Levi, you said you don't know where you came from? How long have you been here, then? Do you have any family, and friends?" he asks, then thinks, //Perhaps I can get him sinking about his home or his people, even zough he doesn't have any, perhaps I can convince him to leave zee Land of Dreams... He can't shtay in this vorld for long... Nubrie be vith us...//

I'm pretty good! My eyes are dry, but I'm a little giddy because I've got the apartment all to myself today, my parents are taking the kids up to Columbus to hand them over to their dad and now I won't have to see them for a MONTH!! HAHAHAHA!)

"Oh. Thanks! I appreciate all the help I can get." Echodream said, re-thinking Rui's point about Levi needing to hide his appearance. "...We'll just have to make sure nobody tries to... Steal your feathers or anything crazy like that."

Echo started following after Levi and listened to Rui as they went. "Yeah! Those are good questions... You must be from some distant Realm, since we've never seen your kind before... Do you remember anything about how you got here?" He added, his tone making the first part of his statement sound like the beginning of some epic adventure saga.

...I hope both of you can get some good rest, though. Feeling super tired is no fun. :'D)

Levi hummed as he thought about their questions, "I don't know how I got here, I just woke up here without any memory of how I arrived in this world. It's not like I don't remember anything, I remember exploring other worlds. Ones with some really strange species, none of which talked to me"

"I just don't know how I got here, when I try to think about it, it's like it's blocked off" Levi shrugs. "I've been here a few weeks now, no I don't have any friends or family" he gives both Dreamers a smile, "You're the first ones to talk to me in a long time"

"You have partial amnesia, then?" Ruhiger asks, raising an eyebrow at the Vaseterm and briefly glancing over at Echo as he walks along, "Vell, I'm glad vee can show off our hoshpitality to a stranger, at the very least. Although, really, what are friends except strangers vee talk too?"

Despite saying that friendly line with a chuckle, Rui doesn't view these two as 'friends,' thinking of Levi as a nuclear bomb about to march right into Armonia and Echodream as a poor bystander caught in the wrong place at the worst time. //He remembers exploring oser vorlds, but can't remember how he got here? He's been here for veeks? And zee Devil hasn't comen for him... Void muscht be planning something, Levi is zee bait...// he considers, inconspicuously perking his ears up some to try and pick up on any sounds he might've been missing, assuming that they're all being watched or followed, //Laut! Vee've walked right into a trap, and vee don't know vat for! Is Void watching Levi for some hidden potential in zis Royal, or has he set us up? Is he planning on taking us captive again? Vere's Zi? H-he'd use her for ransom... Vere is she? I need to find her, make sure she's safe...//

//Slow down tough guy, you need to focus on what you're doing right now,// Laut telepathically replies, flying up and sitting on Ruhiger's head, laying on his back like he doesn't have a care in the world, //Don't let your thoughts get too carried away or you'll knock over this house of cards.//

Knowing his Fairfin is right, Ruhiger Traum sighs internally and cheerfully adds on to what he was saying before, "Perhaps at some point you can resume exploring the Realms until you find your home, Levi?"

"Hmm... Maybe we can help you remember some of those things?" Echodream suggested, "There has to be something that would trigger your memory..."

He nodded in agreement with Ruhiger's friendly comments, a smile coming across his face. "Mmhm!"
...He had absolutely no clue what was really going on, or what could actually happen to them in the city.
He just thought of Levi as another, rarer creature visiting the Land of Dreams--with a mysterious backstory and a case of amnesia. And Ruhiger Traum was a Dreamer who also had a mysterious backstory, and may or may not be a Shadow Hunter. Either way, Echo thought both of them were pretty nice and respectable... At least on the nicer end of the spectrum of people he'd been stuck with during his travels.

...Melody on the other hand, was a lot more anxious about the whole situation. She was awfully hesitant to say anything about it, though, seeing as these were Echo's new, and only travel companions at that moment...

"Trying to retrace your steps could be a good way to stir those memories of yours, too!" Echo quite literally 'chimed in' with Rui's suggestion.

"I guess I do have a bit of amnesia" Levi starts walking backwards, to look at the two as they speak. "Retracing my steps would take a long time, I don't quite remember every step I took"

"Enough about me, the forgetful Vaseterm! How about you two? Where are you from? Do you have any family or friends?" Levi asks, seeming genuinely curious, "Also how far is the city we're going to?"

"I'm originally from a different continent than this one," Ruhiger casually starts to explain, however I don't even know the names of the other continents or locations so Rui leaves out some details, sadly, "I was born and raised there vith my brother and my sister, I remember travelling a lot vith my parents when I was a fawn..." He then pauses a moment, looking at the road ahead and quietly continuing, "I... don't have any family anymore, and friends come and go. I tend not to stick in one place for very long, so it's hard to make a strong connection vith anyone. You know?"

Then, he glances over at Echo and asks, "Vat about you? Care to share vith us about your folks? You said you are a performer, but I don't believe I've heard of you... but zen again, I don't pay much attention to zee news."

Echo looked saddened, hearing that Ruhiger didn't have family or friends. "I can't imagine what that must be like..." He muttered, leaving it at that as to be mindful of privacy.

"My family and I lived in a little seaside town northwest of the Golden Sun Desert. It was just me, mom and dad, and my brother..." He paused briefly, "I'm not surprised you haven't heard of me, I'm still a little new to the performing scene. But I'm going to work hard to get more traction!
My main goal is to earn funds toward finding a cure for Nightmare Syndrome."

Then he paused again, remembering Levi's last question. "I don't think we're too far--maybe half an hour's walking distance?"

Levi listened to the two, stumbling every so often from a dip in the uneven road, walking backwards sure wasn't helping him. "Wow this world sounds like it's quite big and pretty too!" he shivers at the mention of a seaside town, water wasn't exactly a male Vaseterm's favorite thing to be in, let alone live near it.

"Well I travel a lot, so maybe we can travel together, even after performing in this city!" Levi's blue eyes are bright as he continues, "Echo you could join us too! Build up a name for yourself city to city!"

He then thought about flying up and checking to see if he could see anything. "Oh!" It then hit him, "Do you guys have other forms? I know you're one of the deer things Ruhiger, how about you Echo? Are you a Manticore too?"

"Eh, vee'll see about that," Ruhiger casually remarks back to Levi, but he offers Echo a faint smile when he mentions what he's working for. "Now that's a noble cause I can stand behind, I'll gladly donate some of my funds to support it. Hopefully... Hopefully it'll be put to good use."

But the Obsidian Dreamer knows, deep down, it won't be just anyone who finds the cure for Nightmare Syndrome, no matter how much money is behind them. Not with Void and Soledormir still working against them... //But it'z enough to give everyone hope zat one day zee curse vill be broken...//

He then goes quiet and watches Echo after Levi asks his questions, finding himself a little curious as to what forms his fellow Dreamer might have.

"It is!" Echodream remarked, seeming proud that the Land of Dreams was his home world.
"Hmm... That sounds like a nice idea!" He replied at first. Normally, he would've just agreed wholeheartedly to that, but Melody had to remind him of something... "......Echo... We just met them... Shouldn't we... Get to know them a little more, first...?"
Echo didn't show any sort of outward response to that, but he did add on to his first declaration, "...We'll just have to see how things go here, first. I don't even have any idea where we'd head next!"

With Levi's last question, Echo shook his head a little, "Nah, I'm not a Manticore. My other form is a Sound Elemental. I use it during shows sometimes--especially with acting."

Levi squealed, "I can't wait to see you preform Echo and see your Sound Elemental form, that sounds so cool!" his wings quiver with excitement. He didn't know what an elemental was, but he was picturing something really cool in his head, evident by the big boyish grin on his face.

"I wish we could all fly there! We'd get there so much quicker than walking! Do your little wings let you fly?" Levi runs over and pokes one of the 'wings' on Echo's shoulder. "Or can you teleport with them? That would be so cool!"

//Vell, if zee Devil shows up, vee'll have quite the show... before vee die... Schtill sough, why hasn't he made himself known yet?// Ruhiger can't help but worry about that, but he tries not to think about that too much more. //Maybe he's shtalking us...?//

He glances over at Echo briefly and folds his wings at his sides, and despite looking tired and worn out, he offers, "Vell if you have no form to fly in, I can alvays give you a lift to the city," then says to Levi, "We can teleport, but it takes a lot of energy from us to do so, even vith our Fairfin partners."

Echo grinned and laughed at Levi's excitement, "I'll give you the best performance I've got!"
His wing twitched when Levi poked it. "Nope, I can only teleport with them. They're more for magic-purposes.

Flying would be faster... But I don't really have any form that can fly."
His ears perked up at Ruhiger's offer, "Are you sure about that? You look exhausted..."

"Oh if teleporting is exhausting, then I guess we shouldn't" Levi looks to Ruhiger, "Echo is right, you do look really tired, how about we rest first, before continuing?" he drops his backpack on the ground. "I'll stand guard! Make sure nothing creeps up on us!"

Ruhiger just shrugs when Echo and Levi both ask about his well-being, and sighs, saying, "Oh, nein, I'm fine, I can handle a flight to Armonia. Besides, are /really/ you sure you'd like to shtay out in the middle of nowhere, out in the open by the side of a neglected road, where Nightmares could jump us, instead of resting easy in the safety of a city...?"

"You've got a point there... Finding a place to rest at Armonia would be a lot safer." Echodream nodded, "Well, at least my other form isn't all that heavy."
His body was suddenly enveloped by a magical orange glow as he shifted to his alternate form.
Once the light dissipated, an almost metallic-looking humanoid stood before them. He had bright golden-yellow hair with magical, ghostly waves pulsing through it. His ears were more like large fins that folded at the sides of his head, and atop his noggin were two horns that had openings on the front. He wore a bright suit and white dress pants to go with it--both of which mimicked the coloring and markings of his true form. (...Outfit's still a W.I.P.)

"Ta-daaaaa~" He did jazz-hands.

(Hey, I was wondering if you guys would be alright with calling it a night a bit earlier this time?

I'm also considering maybe taking a break from RPing on Saturday, so we don't burn out before Sunday rolls around. XP)

(I'm fine with that, we've been staying up pretty late these last two night X'D )

Levi looked around nervously when Ruhiger said that, the image of a pack of scary Nightmares surrounding and attacking them, terrified him. "Yeah you gotta point, I would much prefer a city to be in, surrounded by many others. I doubt Nightmares just run rampant in cities" he rubs his hands together nervously.

He looks back to see Echo had shifted, his face lit up, "Oh wow! You look so cool and amazing! You definitely look like a professional performer" he nods and grins.

Levi picks up his backpack again... And puts it back on...again. "We should get going now? Yes?" He was still on edge now, expecting Nightmares to pounce at any second

I'm having a blast too and I think it'd be a while longer before I burn myself out with this, but I wouldn't want you to burn out while we're still raring to go, Fluffy, I'd be alright with either taking it slower or just taking a break tomorrow and Saturday XP Just let us know how you're feeling~

Yeah! I've been having fun using Echo and Melody for the first time too.

Ruhiger watches as Echodream shifts to his Sound Elemental form, and smirks faintly at how bright and shiny he is now. "I can see why you'd attract dragons and birds now," he teases, laying down to make it easier for his fellow Dreamer to climb up on his back. "Vith a face like zat, vee might as well be flying into the city with a bright beacon announcing our presence."

"Ya, I agree, we should get moving before it gets too late in the day," he then casually replies, noticing as his Fairfin starts making a couple more charades in front of him. //No, I am not going to sleep tonight,// he tells his Fairfin telepathically.

Echo rubbed the back of his head, a flattered grin on his face, "Thanks! I would hope that's what I look like--'tis the role I was aiming for." He chuckled a little at Ruhiger's comments, "Let's just hope things don't get out of hand. Now we have /two/ extra shiny people."

He hopped onto Ruhiger's back, then glanced around, making sure everything was situated properly--and so that he wouldn't get flung off the moment they took off.
"I'm ready whenever you guys are!"

Levi didn't waste another minute, beating his wings hard, he took off into the sky. Feeling much safer in the air, //Now I'll be able to see anything coming// he lets out a breath of relief. Now waiting for his two new friends to Catch up.
