a cute boi- i love that design.

ive never played klonoa but i have heard of it, id like to play it sometime but i dont think it's ever had any rereleases or ports so it'd be a bit hard to play (unless you wanted to go about it by shady means such as a ROM or somethin) :/

ah, i was going to look after the beetle for as long as it lived, like id already done to two male metricus paper wasps who i found (or rather, found me, in the case of one of them who crawled up my leg...)

sadly, sweet little beetle friend fell on its back and couldnt flip back over while i was away. by the time i got back, it had spent too much of its energy trying to flip over and couldnt recooperate no matter how much i tried to help it and slowly, over the course of a day, died despite my aggressive efforts to save it. and man it hurt lol... i always take it extremely personally when something happens to a little buggo.. always have...

and then, the next day or so, i found /another/ bigger grapevine beetle that also couldnt fly. (i normally dont see many grapevine beetles, id actually went several years without seeing any)

i held it for a while, didnt want to risk something bad happening to it on my behalf like the first baby so i put it on an apple tree.--

--i havent seen it anywhere (and ive looked around a bit to check for it), i hope it's okay.

that first beetle (the one that died), my dad is the one who found it, he got it and took it to me (everyone turns to me when a bug of any kind is found lol) and after putting it on an apple and letting it eat for a while, i put it on a tree and let it crawl up. well, next day, my dad found it again and that's when id decided to look after it. (and when i painted it)

i honestly expected history to repeat and to find the bigger beetle the next day after putting it on an apple tree but nope, nothing. ...possibly thankfully.

also aaah i didnt know there were that many klonoa games (i havent done any remotely deep research lol) huh

i dont really go in gamestores or even look for games now (eh, smash ultimate's the only thing that's really got my eye..) so i doubt ill run across the wii remake/port/mybraindoesntremember but i guess it's always possible i could find it somewhere sometime.

its getting a switch remake of the first two games in july, so now would be a great time to try them out!!! :0
