Re: Same, practically. I'm just not starting to draw on paper again. I just haven't had time and it's been bothering not drawing on paper at least once a month. He'll be fine. He's just a little stressed from having to find a new job soon since they plan on hiring full time workers that will eventually cover all the time he usually works. They hired him part time at Kroger and since he is in college, he didn't want to be a full time worker. Yet, he's so awesome that they give him full time hours. So it's pretty annoying but my love is a very determined and strong willed person. I know he will find a more deserving job for a worker of his caliber.

And mhm! The spikey-shaped things near their butts are actually succulents (even though they aren't really colored like them usually oops haha), but I can definitely make yours look similar to obsidian or diamonds if you'd like, maybe even sparkly to sell the illusion!

And oh wow, I didn't even know you had a DA! In that case I'll probably post it to DA and let you know when it's posted via colors, that way I can get in the extra practice ^^
For your half, I know I'd only be able to draw them on colors and I'm perfectly fine with that, but could I maybe get another Zeharu? It's just such an awesome species, I can't resist xD
I was thinking maybe a soul-thief or an earth variant, maybe with some nice vibrant green/blue accents? :0 Again, if you'd rather me ask for a non-species design just lmk ^^

Re: Thank you, Blood!! I'm sure we'll be fine!! I draw fastest on paper, but I do love drawing digital art, too. My patience is already pretty insane at this point, so if it takes me a moment to draw on paper, so be it lol Digital art is a lot easier to do but it does take a ton of practice as well. Have you drawn on paper before or has it always been digital art for you???

Re: You draw amazing art in a short period of time, though. I kinda wish I could do that but I just can't lol. I won't lie, drawing on a 3ds was not easy for me either. I used to draw on just the first layer and that was it. And I didn't know how the opacity worked. I still don't know how to draw realism super well and if I try and fail too many times, I just quit. I do want to learn how to draw on a tablet as well on day and I know that will talk more time ans patience. Just like animation.....I still want to do that but it takes up a lot more time than I can give especially since I am still trash. But hey, once you learn how to do something great, it's hard to forget how to do it afterwards.

Hah, that's relatable X'D Have you tried the method where you start out with a darker color than the base color, then basically do the lighting? If that makes any sense... You might be able to tell what I did from the playback? I guess starting with a darker base and then doing lighting helps me to work out the 3D shapes and all.
