Xavier has been around a very long time, he's seen as an omen. It's said when you encounter him, disaster will strike. (Whether that's the death of someone you love, a natural disaster, etc...)
That's the rumor anyways, because Xavier is so rarely seen. People spun tales about him, each revolving around bad things happening to you.
In reality, he holds no such power, he's just a loner. And for a reason, he is hunted constantly, therefore he tries to avoid being seen by anyone or interacting with others.
So long as he's hunted, no one will ever know the truth about Elijah...Or what lurks just outside Eviah
