Back in April, we tried to take care of a hurt baby squirrel but he died a week later. Since then, I've had an appreciation for squirrels.
A few days ago, my mom took in 2 newborn squirrels because they were just left on the driveway outside. A couple days later, they died too. :(

Id love to have an adult squirrel but there are no hurt ones

this happened to my oldest brother fairly recently (a month or two ago i think) and it happened to my parents....innn.... 2OI2? II?
my family and i think the same thing: that the baby squirrels that you find just... there are abandoned, their mom realizes somethin's not right with them and abandons them since there's no use in looking after them any longer. it's sad but i dont think there's anything one can really do to help them... all you can do is make them comfortable for a bit.

Yeah :( Well I'm glad we made their final moments a good one rather than leaving them outside to die alone
