I personally go with female pups, I've always had an easier time training females. Males tend to be more stubborn.

crazy knuckle heads, males are goofier I hear,,, but when it comes to the heat with females that was not the best experience :'D
Depends on you and your personality I'd say.

aaa setters are so pretty, i love them but i don't think i could handle a big or a shedding dog haha
males and females both have their ups and downs, but if you get a female definitely spay before heat
i like males better just because it's easier for me to say "good boy" than "good girl" xD

Border collies are such smart dogs, little cheaters tho. We have one, then we got a German Shepherd and Husky. My sister also has a Husky and she's a total riot man. The downside is that these are all high energy dogs so the house can get very loud and chaotic quick if we just let them do what they do. :'D
I love our dogs tho, especially the huskies aha, stubborn fools but they're so funny and goofy. aha

Before we got those dogs we had a lab named Max, awe he was a good boi. My dad also had a dog before max but I never got to see him rip, just pictures and stories. ;P
