ok, i thought an explanation was in order for Lightning's ear feather, how she got it, and how they attatched it.
in CloudClan, the healer, Birch has a purple martin's feather behind his ear. he gave ont to Lightning later in the book as a gift due to her being the leader of LightningClan. to attatch the feather, he clawed a cedar tree and waited for the sap to come out. he put the tip of the feather into the sap and then attatched it to her ear fur. so... ya. dat's it. 0_0
