Answer: no

Though there are both Male and female Fairfin, they do not reproduce by mating with each other, and so they have no desire or need for them to mate

Fairfin are not like other creatures, meaning they don't have the same chemistry. Fairfin are living magic, they in the same group as Guardian familiars and even Light Eaters, they magic organisms design for Pacific tasks.

Fairfin were design to counteract the curse of the nightmare, it's their soul purpose in existing

They do experience most emotions, the positive ones but they can be sad, angry and jealous. hate with evil intentions and malice are foreign to a Fairfin
Fairfin can love but that were things can be confusing the English language lumps everything under one unbrella with the word 'love' but there are different types of love. A parent love for their children is different then a group of people who are friends and have a love for each other as friends, there the love between siblings, cousins and other family members, there a love when you favour something like a pets, food or clothes, a game, Etc... then there the love between couples that can grow into intimate love, all of these are forms of love but each one is different, unique and special in its own way
A Fairfin can experience all these forms of love, the love of a parent, the love of a sibling/the love of a family, the love of a friend, the love of a thing, except they don't experience the couple love and intimate love.

The other form of love complement the purpose of the Fairfin in taking care of their Dreamer partner as the last two would distract the Fairfin from their Dreamer partner

Question: how do Fairfin reproduce?

Fairfin are are born from a plant that are only found in 'pools of memories'
There's an actual reason why they are called 'pools of memories' just like there is a reason why the realm is named 'land of dreams' it goes back to the magic Foundation of my Universe revolving the dreams, something that hasn't yet been revealed in skey but is slowly coming to light with the Order of Things
