Re: Oh well Brideshead revisited is a book written by Evelyn Waugh. The story is told in flashbacks from the dark days of WW2. It follows a main character Charles Ryder who goes to Oxford in the 1930s, there he meets and falls in love with wealthy, eccentric, and aristocratic family. It has heavy religious themes, especially Catholicism... but it's a bit deeper than that I feel. As it is more about revisting and reconnecting past times that had long since faded in time. I sorta paraphrased what was written on the summary on the back of the book lol. There is apparently a tv series and a film that was made. Though I don't know how good or true to the orignal book they are. I just recommend reading the book pfff lol.
I don't know how popular it is as a series, I learned about it from school so that's where I got it from oof.
