[NOTE: I got the shape by emailing my outline of plain matryoshka to my 3DS and then tracing my outline to start with.]
The Matryoshka's masks say "苦しみ隠す" which is basically "Hide the suffering". I have always felt like I am a part of an infinite matryoshka with me being the smaller part even though there is no end. And I am trapped in there from using them to protect myself for so long. Actually, the song "Matryoshka" by "NICO Touches the Walls" explains EXACTLY how I feel, to a T. See, I cannot get out. Ever. My drawing skills are not good enough to draw my planned picture, which is me reaching through a crack in the matryoshka. Maybe I will try to draw that next.
