-Probably not what alt boi's saying in this lol.
Also-- shading like how I did in that alt boi pic takes a little bit of knowledge on color theory and lighting/how lighting and shadows work.
If you don't know about color theory, @Birdy's posts on it in #btp2 are helpful. If you're able to go on dA, purplekecleon's "How I See Color: A Tutorial" on there is fantastic and is where I first learnt about color theory in 2OI3.
I'm sorry for just referring you to others' stuff instead of trying to explain it myself, I just don't feel like typing a big explanation at the moment.. ^^'
