One of my very first orignal characters was a pheonix/red tailed hawk named gill.

At the time I had some sort of facination with redtails. Hmm I think I just have nostalgia of my dad pointing them out to me when I was younger. "Look it's a red tail!"
Then everyone goes "wrowwwwww"
that's it lol.
Oh yeah, robins used to nest on our playscape and one year a redtail murdered them pfffff.

anyway I'm getting off topic. I decided to revist this old character but he's not really a revamp. More like he's inspired/ based off an older version. I'm thinking of changing his name too probably something like, Alder, Hickory, Hawthorn, or Buckeye. Naming after a tree yeaaaa
He'll probably also just stay mostly a hawk, I'm trying to find another mythical bird that I can merge his design with too. Phoenixes don't mix lol
