since you have a hard time keeping momentum doing comics, maybe you should try doing something lower quality, that could make it less... idk, intimidating. if you set your standards for something sky high it makes it hard to do it.
(and that's precisely why it takes me ages to do AT pieces now
i dont touch it for ages then i get a little spark of motive and work on it for a day or 4 and finish it)
