Hello! I'm here and not dead! So don't worry! I've just been simply trying to figure out the set up of my maybe last art project for art class! I'm doing Jurassic Park, and i want to cycle through all of the movies.... but i'm not sure how to set it up. I had the dinosaurs drawn around the earth with T-rex, The mom and the baby, The Spinosaur, Indominous Rex and the Indoraptor heads roaring, and then the banner that reads "when dinosaurs ruled the earth" draped acrossed the earth. however it looked like a pin wheel with some being dinosaurs being upside down..... so that's out. So if anyone has any ideas feel free to lay them on me!! I could use some help :)
So enjoy a quick sketch of Antinick is honor of the many dinosaurs I've drawn haha

Also THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 100 FOLLOWERS!!!! I never thought I would get where I am and I'm so great ful for every single one of you!!! There'll be something special coming up soon once I can get some free time :)
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Hmmmm, sounds interesting.
I've only seen like 1 or 2 of the movies but I'm guessing you want to incorporate aspects from all of them?
Dinosaurs on a globe could work but maybe don't make it look exactly like earth. Maybe like more grass and earth and stuff. I also suggest that if you don't wabt it to look too much like a pinwheel try making the globe larger than the biggest subject. Are you doing this on a tablet? Bc then sizing won't be much of an issue. Paper and the 3ds could work but I would highly suggest working of some thumbnails first just to get an idea of how much space you'll need and whether or not you like the idea. It's much clearer when you start actually putting something down.
Another thing you could do is like interactive scene, I would try maybe making all the dinos at some sort of spring barbecue/ potluck. There could be a large outside pavilion that's dino sized. The mess hall could be filled with tons of dinos food and decorations. Now that's strays a bit from what the characters would do since they're nom nom boys, but I think it would look rather lively and original. Perhaps rather detailed and streneous but if you can put it off that'd be super cool.
You could also do a split screen/slide of characters if you want somethings simpler.
Whenever you do a big project remember to relax, sketch light and loose and don't be afraid to experiment with different small thumbnails to see what you like. :)
It might also be a good idea to warm up to some of the characters that you're drawing. Like do practice doodles of each of them, doesn't have to be all of them but it'll give you a better idea/feel of what you want.
Uh find similar references of your vision to help pull what you want together. Study the angles and lighting linearts etc.
Most importantly have fun! If it gets frustrating take a break, or even start over. Sometimes artists get too caught up in the sketching stages and it results in a stiff and overworked drawing. Remain loose and keep your brain loose the ideas will flood in nicely, try not to force it. :)

Re: Ooooooo yea! Infront of the gate could be really cool and awesome! And man color pencil huh? I tend to have trouble with that, mostly bc I get frustrated with blending since it's a slow build up. x'D
That sounds awesome though! I hope you do well! :D

I'm glad you're feeling better, it's no fun being sick. That art gallery sounds awesome! I hope you can get an award, your art is so good!
I've just been tired, work, sleep and draw. While trying to get a second job. Lotta stress and just so badly, I want a tablet. I have $300 in my savings, but I need roughly $700 more to buy what I want
Also, Thank you! For your comment on Zero & Lillian :D
