Ai could sense herself drawing closer to Eater, she barely held back an excited squeal.

"Yeah, hopefully you get some rest tonight," Eater casually replies to Fiona, giving her a friendly pat on the back before rolling his eyes at Rahab's comment and crossing his arms. "I think my name's specific enough, /Rehab,/ and honestly, at this point I might as well give myself a new name... Sure, I ate the hopes and dreams of my former self and his friends when I took over this body, and I ate a lot of Dreamers back then, but I don't do either of those anymore..."

The Nightmare's smirk fades to a frown as he mentions why he chose his name, and he had just started to feel a little chilly when he could sense two little kids coming his way, which gets him to perk up again. At first, he smiles again when he turns around and sees Ai and Boo running towards him, and calls out to them, "Hey you two! It's been a..."

But then he notices... "... Ai, where are your gloves...?"

And when neither of the girls show any sign of stopping, Dreameater starts to panic and, shoving Rahab out of his way, he starts running down the way they were originally headed, shouting, "AI!! DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO TOUCH ME WITHOUT YOUR GLOVES ON!!!"

Boo was hot on Ai heels, she squealed with excitement seen her Guardian " Eater! I want to see the bug! "

"I don't smash books, or zap 'em, and I only chuck 'em if I need to because they can be dangerous weapons...
I like books." Fiona mumbled in response to Rahab, starting to slouch forward as she walked.

However, her posture abruptly shot back to being straight when Eater patted her on the back, and she shuffled away from the Nightmare, giving him another weirded-out look. "Um... Yeah..." She paused, then quietly said, "...Thanks...? Again...?"
She just gave him a /really/ weirded-out look when he started talking about the possibility of changing his name.
Then she narrowed her eyes at him, "...Yeeeeaaaah..."

But when the Nightmare turned around, it got her to look behind them too, and she saw Boo and Ai heading their way. The Elemental smiled as well, "Oh, hey!" She waved to the two little girls...
...At least, until Eater suddenly started panicking about Ai's gloves and Boo started shouting about 'the bug.'
"Wait, WHAT?" Fiona loudly stated her confusion to no one in particular, glancing back and forth between Eater and the two kids. She started picking up her pace, then tried to fly after the Nightmare, "Eater! Why are you running?!"

"You don't have to tell me twice, I never really trusted Eater in the first place..." Purity mumbles in agreement and nods her head, then frowns in pity learning that Void is apparently in Crimson's mind, trying to influence him... but she continues eating her chocolate when he smirks down at his papers, then smirks at her. "Alright, hopefully we'll be able to figure out whatever it is that's up with him before something happens..." the Dreamer states, but then catches onto something Crimson said--and raises an eyebrow while giving him a faint smile. "... Wait... his den? As in... a Nightmare's territory? He didn't /really/ pick a prison cell of all places to be his den, did he?"

Crimson shrugged his shoulders " I'll look into it, I'm just as curious as you are in why he a freak " the dragon shapeshifter couldn't help but chuckle at Purity look "as I said he a freak, a apparently when he became an alpha, he decided to claim this area as his territory and this " he makes the quotation marks with his fingers " his 'room' is den but what you expect from an alpha, I seen cave, palaces, mansions, but a prison cell? this is the first"

Crystal wasn't exactly prepared for the subject change. She was listening patiently when the king went quiet, but what he spoke up about caused one of her eyebrows to raise with question. Although, she just went with it, enjoying her time talking with Arthur, "oh, yeah, boots are pretty cool I suppose." She responded, glancing down at her own boots mindlessly, "They've definitely been effective when it comes to mud, I've never tested them in water like that though. Except for rain."

[ that good, nothing more Miserables then having wet socks... talk about unbearable, I remember this one time it was pouring down rain, no waterproof gear at all, had to hike 40 miles, all up hill and having the constant slashing around your feet, and talk about the blisters, not a fun experience, the I don't mind getting wet as long as my feet are dry, ] Arthur rambled and then got on to another tangent [ yeah, sometime we would hope for rain though back in my days, rainy days meant no Omen, male Vaseterm don't do to well with water, it makes their wings to heavy so they can't fly but Omen expecially terrified of water.... Water is effective against quite a few different dark creatures as well, a lot of the Kingdoms would make large moat or be by a lake, somewhere where water was easy access to ] the king rambled of the days of old forgetting just how little the key Hunters truly new what they we're up against

Eira gave a smile in return to Blue's friendly teasing and looked between him and Qui. "Sorry for the wait... We were wondering about a couple things. First of all, do either of you happen to know about Vaseterms sensing other people's emotions?" she asked.

Catch had a slight embarrassed smile at Blue tease, he then glanced at his wife as she asked her question then looked back to the couple " and I was wondering if you had something that could contain corruption Or at least hold it off? Anything that could help"

Qui tapped her chin, thinking on Eira question " well Royals tassels work like a sixth Sense, but as far as I know they don't pick up other people's emotions, they work more like antennas picking up signals " she explained while gesturing just below her ears were Catch tassels were at, she then put a hand on her hip thinking on what the Queen had told her about Dreamer " Queen Victoria told me before that Dreamer were different before the nightmare curse, that Dreamer were creatures of emotions, they use it like energy, they even had an awakened form but that all change with Malice...and we'll, you know what Dreamer are like now "

Blue was quiet as Qui explained about the emotion question, "Yeah...hmmm" he tips his head to one side. "I don't know much about corruption, sorry, but I will look into it for both of you and let you know if I discover anything, in the morning"

He hums as he thinks on the previous question, "Why do you ask about feeling others emotions? Are you experiencing that when you walk around the palace? The city? Or is it another thing?"

Malice had found a bar and was having a few drinks, the Nightmare king knew he couldn't get wasted like he did before, it was to risky now not with thing after him to, Mal needed his senses or at least most of them.

Mal was in his human disguise sitting in a bar a table, he had his glass cupped in his hand, he is anxiously moved his thumb around the rim of the glass going over the events that occurred, expecially the most recent battle with the Shadow creatures attacking Alexandrea

Hiiro had gotten sore, so sore, laying in the front lobby. He'd been awake for a while and had stayed motionless, minus his breathing, for over half an hour. Going over the days events in his mind, while his body was practically screaming at him to move.

He finally listened to his protesting limbs and stood up, stretching himself out, he decided, he needed to get out of the palace and get some fresh air.

Shifting to his human form, he left the palace and finally, the barrier.

He also didn't bother to disguise himself, at all...Hiiro walked into the bar Malice was in, after wandering for some time and he immediately recognized the Nightmare King.

Hiiro walked over and plopped down beside him, "What's eating you bug boy?" he asks with a grin as he snatches Malice's drink and downs it.

Malice's predator since we're just getting fuzzy, he could tell others were in the room but was a bit slower on focusing on them, but then again he didn't care about those people

it wasn't until Hiiro came in that Mal pick up one something remotely familiar, but it wasn't someone he wanted to see. The Nightmare king curled his lip at the Dragon shapeshifter, both for taking his drink and calling him a bug. //How did he come to know about that?... He did not see me when Omen ripped me out of my frame so how does he know about Light Eater... unless he just talking nonsense?...// Malice folded his arms and lean back in his chair " why are you even here? Don't you have some Forester burn or chaos to create?" He said sarcastically raising eyebrow at Hiiro // this is the red iguana? It wasn't that long ago I seen him though... Do beard for his kind grow that fast?...he doesn't appear right...he looks more like Soledormir then Hiiro but he doesn't have the same presence as the master....this has to be Hiiro //

Hiiro snickered, "Yeah I'm not the only one burning down forests, just saw what you did" he leans back and waves to the bartender to get him to come over, then ordering himself a rum and coke.

He elbowed Malice playfully, "Ah come on, we're best friends, aren't we? After all this time, we should be" Hiiro snickers and downs half his drink in one gulp. "So again, what's eating you?" he repeats his question and pokes Mal's chest with a finger, grinning toothily.

The Nightmare king had folded his arms again, the corner of his lip twitch when Hiiro elbowed him, he did not like Hiiro, he never did but knew he had to be at least somewhat civil " we are /not/ friends " Malice said bluntly as he pushed Hiiro hand go away from his chest.

Mal went back to folding his arms " nothing eating me as you say..." He raise his eyebrow " I have everything under control..." he lied, Mal didn't know how to fix the problem he was in but he was prideful and disliked his company "so stop being a pest " he growled and look away from the shapeshifter, his mind keep going back and forth between things on what he should do

Hiiro just rolled his eyes at Malice, then he smirked as he decided to play dirty, really get under the Nightmare's skin.

"You know, when Alexandrea first joined the group, I didn't think much of her, but now..." Hiiro gives Malice a smirk, he knew the two's relationship, who didn't by now?

"She's not that bad to look at, I'm thinking of making my move on her, she does have quite a nice figure" Hiiro gestures her shape with his hands. "She's small, thin, but that long hair needs to go...I think I'll chop it off for her" he looks thoughtful as he rubs his chin.

Purity can't help but giggle some at the fact that Eater picked a prison cell to be his turf, and she shakes her head and smiles. "He definitely seems to be doing a lot of firsts for Nightmares... Oh, and speaking of Eater, he told me how you don't have a sink down here," she says, going off on a tangent, "and knowing that, I want to help you when it comes to brushing your teeth, especially after seeing how much chocolate you've had today... I can get a toothbrush and toothpaste and come down every morning and night, and my water magic is pure, so you won't have to worry about using toilet water."

(OKAY. I'm at the laptop with wired internet at my dad's place, so I shouldn't have any more problems for now.

Malice glace back to Hiiro when he brought up the Phoenix shapeshifters name, as the dragon shapeshifter when on to address Alexandrea in that way, a dark look came across Mal face, Alex belong to him... Nightmare we're already territorial when it came to things but Alex, she meant more to him expecially after having a heart, Mal nearly stood up as He growled showing his fangs." you do no such thing to her!"
What Hiiro said did in fact get under the Nightmare king skin, he loved Alex but also that Hiiro would talk so casually about another woman when he had one " isn't one woman enough? You already have Mina, do your kind have no honor?" Malice snapped, but the thing was he didn't know Mina was killed...no one told him and he couldn't since what happened inside the barrier so all he knew was Mina was still alive and Hiiro was waiting to make a move on another girl

Malice went back to folding his arms and setting back down" That right, your a dragon, you would not know what honor is now would you?" He said sarcastically

Crystal grimaced at the king's story, "Goodness, that sounds like it was awful.." she mumbled, tilting her head and then continuing to listen.

She thought for a moment on what Arthur said about some dark creatures being effected by water, then said, "That's quite interesting, water is just... water. I wouldn't have thought it could possibly do anything to dark creatures."

Hiiro just calmly tapped the rim of his glass with his index finger, "I thought so" he says quietly when Malice finished. "You don't know, no one told you huh?"

He looks up at the ceiling, "I have honor Malice and I showed it when I buried Mina this morning" his gaze turns to the Nightmare.

"Crimson snapped this morning and killed Mina" Hiiro sighs, his chest tight with pain, "She's gone, forever"

He starts to tighten his grip around his glass, cracks spreading across it. "They didn't even punish him! They let him live after he /killed/ her! Like her life meant nothing!" he hisses out through clenched teeth, his eyes dark with rage.

Crimson nodded his head in agreement with Purity that Eater done a lot of first for Nightmares, he sat there quietly as the Dreamer girl change the topic and gave her speech on hygiene "oh...uh ok" he said a little confused // she really is a clean freak isn't she?// He turned himself to look at the toilet and grimace " yeah... I wouldn't use that water...I would rather go without then use that" he muttered.

Crim then looked back to Purity and shrugged his shoulders " I guess I should say thanks "

[Ah! Yes indeed it is just water But that the thing, different things effect things differently... Sometime mixing things can create some interesting things...] Arthur tried to explain in his roundabout way, that most things had weaknesses and strengths to thing, and sometimes in order to find those you had to mix something together.

The king then went on to one of his stories [ it kinda reminds me of my nephews... Fade had an idea for type of order Magic, he had the moons tear, the tear had a burning fire to it that could purify but it was still missing something, but it was Faolan who got it to work correctly by mixing water with the tear, making a purifying water that corruption can't touch. ]

Ai was living up to being a fast footed female Vaseterm, she was determined, her short legs and arms just pumping away as she ran with all her might. It may have also helped she wasn't your average Vaseterm.

She was gaining on Eater, faster than he was getting away.

"Eater! I want show Boo your bug!" Ai yells, flexing her fingers as she ran.

Malice held his harsh look for a moment but as the dragon shapeshifter continue to explain what happened to the Venatavis, the Nightmare king expression shifted to confusion then shock, All of Mal previous aggression melted as he whispered"what?...Mina dead?..." The new hit him like a semi truck, he like Mina, she was one of the rare few Malice talked about certain things about, he looked back at when he told the Venatavis that somethings about her reminded him of Serenity and now Mina was gone to...

As Malice thought dwelled on Mina and what happened, rage boiled up in the Nightmare King, his eyes darkened did he stood up slamming his fist on the table " WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE FOR HER?! YOU WE'RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER!" Mal loud voice cracked with his emotions.

This was all like deja vu for Malice, the words he shouted we're the very same Faolan shouted at Faye when he told him the new Serenity was murdered and Faolan believe it was done by Zitan...and who descendant had just killed Mina...

but those words he shouted, we're ultimately more spoken it to himself... It was burned into Mal mind of Faolan's shame and regret in not being able to save his sister...

Malice chest hurt, he flopped back into his seat, he put a hand to his face and rubbed it"... I told Alex they need to kill that thing... I can't since it, I didn't know or I would have tried...it needs to be killed, that thing is evil..."

Hiiro lowered his gaze when Malice yelled at him, he knew that, he knew he was supposed to protect her. He already felt like a failure and it ate away at him, he finished the rest of his drink.

"I did fail her, we all did" Hiiro lets out a breath, "Crimson does need to die, there's no forgiveness for that, Mina was a key candidate too. For all we know, that brat just cost us the game, I mean, who will get Mina's key now that she's gone?"

"You also realize, your little mate is in that palace with him right?" Hiiro looks at Mal out of the corner of his eye, "They're making every excuse in the book for him" he curls his lip, "They've been nothing but nice, probably gonna 'cure' him" he snorts, "Me and you both know, the only cure for that is at the end of a blade"

"What do you say?" Hiiro raises a brow, "I'll drag him out of the cell, out of the palace, when everyone's asleep. And we'll deal with him, before he kills again, and he will. They always do"

Boo was trying to keep up but she was tripping over her own feet and stumbling, she was getting left behind even though she was running on four legs not two like everyone else " wait up for me guys! I what to see to!" The little Dragonette stumbled over her feet and did a somersault, but she got back up and rush after Ai and Eater

Boreas just casually wandered through one of the seemingly endless hallways as he continued thinking about...
...Well, /everything./ Because that's what he does--think a lot.
//I have to stop dwelling on the past couple of days... With the little information I have, it's not going to do any good...
I still don't understand how I ended up here...
...But I need to think of my next course of action instead.//

"Mhm, I would too, but your teeth are important, I know I certainly don't want your teeth to fall out," Purity playfully teases the dragon prince, giving him a faint smile.

"WHAT!? NO!! AI, YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT YOUR TOUCH HURTS ME!! I WON'T LET YOU RIP ME OUT!!" Dreameater shouts back, but part of the reason why Ai is even catching up to him is because he slows down for a moment as a thought hits him... //... Hold up, I'm a 20-year-old, grown man, and a Nightmare at that, at the very least, I could grab her or something... Why am I running from her?! ... BECAUSE SHE HAS DEATH FINGERS, THAT'S WHY!!! AAAAHHHH!!!// Flying back into a panic, Eater shifts to his true form, racing down the hallways with his chains scraping across the floor...

Malice stopped rubbing his face when the dragon shapeshifter gave his suggestion, he wanted Crimson dead for many reasons... And Hiiro was right, Mina was one of the chosen candidates and now she was gone... The Nightmare king was so consumed by the thoughts of Revenge but it didn't even register in his mind that the Venatavis wasn't the only key Hunter who was lost and the quest still continued.

Revenge was all that was on his mind, he didn't even process what Hiiro referred to Alex being, Malice was the forsaken Lord of Revenge, and like a wolf who got the scent of blood, he was now on the hunt....

Malice look Hiiro in the eyes " you bring me that thing and I'll kill it...." He growled

A dark look was in Hiiro's eyes, something cold, something...sinister. "When I drag him outside, when you find me again, at midnight" Hiiro's dark gaze looks to Malice, his tone colder than ice, "He's all yours"

"Oh.." Crystal mumbled, thinking about what was said before asking, "The moons tear? Is 'moons tear' a code name for something?" She went quiet, then added, "Unless in these places moons can cry.."

Fiona glanced back and forth, hearing the conversation between Ai and Eater. "She wants to see... The bug." She tiredly repeated, barely even paying attention to what was in front of her anymore as she quickly flew after the Nightmare, "...Yeeeeah... I know what that is..."

...It took a moment, but then it seemed to hit her, "Oh wAIT--THE BUG. She can rip you out of your frame because--!" The Elemental stopped her rambling there, putting everything together and realizing the gravity of the situation. (Especially since she remembered all the confusion of the /last/ time that happened.) "OH NO THAT'S BAD."

Malice smirk " that a deal I can drink to" he wave his hand to call over waiter for some more drinks.

The the waiter brings over more glass and drinks, the Nightmare king take one and nodded his head to the dragon before drinking his glass

Ai thought it was all fun and games, that was until Eater shifted to his true form. Instantly, fear coursed through the small girl and she slowed to a stop, Ai started breathing fast and heavy, but it wasn't from running.

The sound of the chains echoing through her mind, his form similar to another Nightmare...

She could remember how those chains felt, carving into her flesh and she did what most little kids did when scared. She started to cry, "J-Judas" Ai cries out for him, her eyes filling with tears.

Hiiro took the drink and downed it, he leaned back, feeling relief. Finally, someone was being sensible about what happened...

He couldn't wait for night to come.

Boo had finally caught up to Ai now that she stopped, the little Dragonette was confused why her friend was so upset but it was making her upset, it carried in her voice " don't cry Ai!"

Boo waddled over to her friend and put her paw around the little girl, giving her friend a hug, Boo started to cry

Of course, Eater had just kept running at first... but then he slowed to a stop as well, suddenly being able to taste fear... He narrows his eyes and turns his ears back as he stands in place, an eerie grinding sound coming from somewhere behind him that he doesn't recognize, but that doesn't matter at the moment--did he do something wrong? "... Ai? What's wrong? Are you ok?" the Nightmare calls back to her, turning around to look back to her, but not approaching at the moment.

(Eater's not going to help... I'm already pretty sure he's going to do a very stoopid :'D )

Legends say that the four moons of that realm are actually deities, their names are Nubrie, Taylice, Shiroi Tamashi  and Ashnah.... They say that these four is we're Order comes from, time, space, elements, the seasons, etc... But the story go's that the four pay a price to keep a great evil from stepping foot in the land of dreams...I believe that why Soledormir /can't/ go there...he can send his armies but as far as I know, the chaos King has never stepped dirty foot in the land of dreams... it also explain why the moons have never showed themselves, that what they did keep Soledormir at Bay but so are they.... However ever once in a while the moons will give a gift and shed a tear, a powerful Crystal flowing with order Magic, Faye made the keys with them and we'll here I am, a remnants of Arthur's hope and dreams for a better future without the chaos King ] the king of old tell the story as he knows it

Fiona had been looking back when Ai stopped and started crying. When she saw that, the Elemental also came to a stop, or at least, tried to... She let her feet touch the ground too quickly and thus nearly fell over onto her face.
...She managed to catch herself before she did that, but not before stumbling and doing a few hops to keep her balance first.

She glanced to the two crying kids in the middle of the hallway, then looked to Eater. It had all happened so suddenly... Fiona didn't really know how to react, but she did narrow her eyes at the Nightmare, "...Wha... What did you do...?" She tiredly questioned, a mix of hostility and confusion in her tone.

...Despite being a little bewildered by the situation, she knew she couldn't just ignore the two little girls--even if she didn't know Ai that well. Before Eater could answer her question, the Elemental approached Ai and Boo and got down on her knees so she would be more on their level. "...Hey, are you okay...?" She gently asked.

Ai hugged Boo back, her bare hands touching Boo's hide. She heard the questions, the concern as tears blurred her vision, "Nooo" she cries out.

Through her sobs, she said, "Lamia is here again, she gonna take me again, I don't want to go to the red world" her jaw was quivering as she spoke, "Don't let her take me to the red world again" she looked up at the elemental.

Boo just hug her friend back, she didn't know the danger Ai touch could cause, and she wouldn't know, as she was unfazed by the girls bare hands...

" I won't let Lamby get you" she tried to reassure her friend, Boo knew a little bit who Lamia was, she was mean and a scary nightmare, the little Dragonette also knew red worlds we're very bad to " you won't go to bad place "

Dreameater stands there and listens as Ai cries and tries to explain, he pins his ears back and frowns at Fiona when she asks him what he did, but now he starts to put the pieces together... He recognizes the name "Lamia" from his former self's time in school, and while he doesn't know very much, he does know that that's the name of a legendary Nightmare. //She had an encounter with Lamia? ... She's scared of Nightmares then. And she hadn't seen my true form until now, right... I-I better do something, or Blue's going to think I hurt her, and he's going to kill me...!// he concludes, flicking his ears and turning one around as he still hears that strange grinding sound from somewhere, but tries to ignore that for now. "... Ai, it's me, Eater, remember? ... Remember Purple?" Dreameater softly calls to her, still staying a distance away. He slowly uses one of his chains to take off Terra's skull and hangs it, along with the rest of his chains, on his wings in an attempt to come off as less threatening, and to make sure his chains don't scrape across the ground. "Lamia isn't here, Ai, you're safe, no one's going to hurt you, I'm a good Nightmare," Eater says, taking just a few steps closer before stopping.

(At least she didn't start running away, otherwise Eater would've chased her and tried to pin her down before trying his hardest to calm her down ':D )

Crimson frowned thinking about his teeth rotting out, he didn't like that idea, it was ingrained in him to keep his teeth clean thanks to Judas's oral hygiene passion...

The dragon shapeshifter took his tongue across his teeth, feeling the sugar bugs from the chocolate and kinda really wanted to clean his teeth now " yeah, the win- ...Judas, had a thing about having health teeth, I don't think I'm as much as a freak about it as he is, but I do know that it's important" Crimson then tipped his head and smiled at the clean-freak Dreamer " I just realized, that something you remind me of him about, your both clean freaks but in a different way " he said teasingly

(I was half-tempted to write that "Eater took Terra's head off" but I figured I probably shouldn't 'XD )

I still find it funny that Terra human form so small but his Dreamer form he was a big boy xD

Or was Terra really a normal sized Reimer for his age and Weaver was a small size Dreamer making Eater smaller to?)

(I feel like that'd be a funny mental image, but I can't really see Terra being taller than Weaver in any forms they share, human or true XD

The funny thing is is that I never stopped to think about how tall my kids are in their true forms, besides Shadow, you know how my thought process went back then, it just seemed cool at the time X'D )

"Lamia...? Who's...
...Lamby...?" Fiona muttered to herself, not knowing who Lamia was...
From what she was hearing, she was pretty sure it was safe to assume Lamia was someone bad.
...She wasn't quite sure what a red world was, either...
"Don't worry, Ai. No bad guy's gonna take you to any red world." The Elemental tried to comfort her, "If /anybody/ tried to do something bad, I'd bop 'em with my big sword, see?" She reached back and tapped Shockwave's hilt, then gave the little girl faint smile. "...You don't have to be scared. We'll keep you safe."

She glanced back at Eater as he spoke--again, she really didn't know how to respond, but at that moment, she was more worried about how Ai would react...

Ai started to calm down, just a little bit, she knew Eater wasn't Lamia. She was bigger than him and blue. But that form still freaked her out, she flinched as the Nightmare drew closer.

"You fight off the scary lady" Ai whispers to Fiona, looking to Eater, she was referring to him as the scary lady. As long as he stayed in that form.

She didn't run, yet...

( I'm falling asleep fast, I don't know how long I can fight it )

(I'm sleepy too, I could barely write that for Ai)

Boo stop crying, she was now just confused about what everyone was talking about but one thing was first serve her friend was scared and she wanted to comfort her " no bad Lamby come and get you, see the good guys would let bad thing happened to you "

(This time, I'm one of the ones who's not sleepy... RIP)

( I think we could call it a night, I'm you going to pass out any second x'D
