I try to go for a painterly look here. But I do not do much traditional painting. When I do it is usually watercolor, because it is easy to clean up and works fast. I started doing digital art about 15 years ago, but just off and on as a hobby. It would have been good to take classes! Previous to using colors I worked in Corel Painter and Photopaint with a Wacom. But this is just easier to pick up and do something quickly. The simplified tools are nice.
I have encouraged the kids to do traditional. They enjoy watercolor, gouache, and acrylics. They post on here under the name Bigftninja

i use watercolor alot.. but that's mainly because it's all i have/can afford..
