First Myth about Nightmares

Are Nightmares people?
the answer is: No, they are not people

However Nightmares themselves do not realize this fully. They know they are a curse but what they look like and what they really are they don't know.

pretty much everyone believe that Nightmares are just evil versions of Dreamers, Shadowhunter, Dreamers, you who is reading this...Nightmare even call the Dreamer their former self making it easy to believe that they just an evil version of the Dreamer they once were but this is not the case.

the best way to describ what a Light Eater truly is, is that their more like a computer program or more likely a computer virus... they're made with certain set instincts that they can not ignore, they can get updates to adapt aslong as it doesn't interfere with their base programming, so pretty much think of Light Eater as NPC living in a Dreamer corpse...

the only Nightmare to know and understand this is Malice, other Nightmare are oblivious to this

Second myth about Nightmares.

Do Nightmares know about Light Eater?

the answer is: No

Nightmare do know they are a curse but they do not know what a Light Eater is or what they look like.

only a very small amount of Nightmare know what they truly are and those are ones who had been ripped out of their frame and lived

The Nightmare who do know about Light Eater don't speak about it, they hate that form and would rather no one knowabout it.

The Light Eater will do everthing in its power to return to its frame

Third Myth about Nightmares

can you rip a Light Eater out of their frame anywere on their body?

the answer is: yes

However pulling a light eater out of their frame is /extremely/ painful and a slow process or should be done slowly if you want the light eater to live...

only creatures with chaos touch like red demons or other chaos influence species can rip a light eater from their frame but just because they can doesn's mean its a good thing...

A person has to know what there doing in order to successfully rip a light eater out of their frame, Omen hasn't been a good example because he knows what he doing and can make doing the equivalent of brain surgery look easy :'D

To pull a Light Eater out of their frame successfully is by ripping them out of their chest area on the Nightmare body. what happens is the black goo that a Light Eater raw form is pulled to source of the Chaos touch. the black goo has to travel through the frame and collects at the source. the chest is the easiest because it is hollow and already has the most light eater goo located.

A Nightmare organs in their chest, lungs and diaphram,etc...are all made from the black goo, seen this is the largest continent rate of the goo, its easier to draw the other goo to the chest then to make the goo in the chest go elsewhere.

pulling a light eater out anywhere else on the frame body has a higher chance of killing it.

this is why Omen pull a light eater from the chest and slowly, he know just the right amount of chaos to use, he dose it slowly to give the light eater time to adjust and form

when a light eater is out of their frame, if done correctly, it will take the light eater awhile to adjust and take their true light eater form but most the time what happens is the individual will end up with a puddle of black goo in their hands that doesn't do anything...because the light eater is dead...

this is a common thing when ripping light eater who dont know what their doing.
in fact the black goo is usually mistaken as the Nightmare black blood, keeping the secret of the light eater even more secretiver.
