Bout time I got this going again. Still loving having more free time!
Thinking about occasionally doing these intermediary, colored pics during the story. This picks up right where things left off, so Quill and Cole are heading to their usual training grounds. I look forward to continuing this story!

Re: Thank you! It's been a bit rough at college due to all the group projects. It was just... not pleasant.
Right now I'm enjoying the month of vacation they give us. Gotta regain strength.
So far after that, it's been good. I'm trying to finish an old nuzlocke, and I've been trying to draw again. I feel so rusty. XD

And yes, group projects can be a disaster or a blessing. In our case, it is mostly a curse. There is a rule that if you don't have at least 60 percent of the individual grades, you don't get to have the groupal grade.
That rule only makes people ditch the team if they feel they won't pass the subject or concentrate in rescuing their grades (and still ditch the team).

It's funny how that rule was to prevent free-riders. They didn't thought it would create a ditching problem.

We also have that peer review. This college is just paranoid about ditching. It only made things worse.
At the end, we can only deal with it.
Also, I'm glad you rested for a bit. I hope the work is enjoyable too! Sometimes it is difficult to find rewarding jobs in terms of self-satisfaction.

Re: It was actually difficult to decide how to draw the characters. I decided by keeping them as Witzke draws them because I felt they lostnsomething when I started to draw them in my style. XD
