(So would you be okay with Kamaria being the Freia rep in Lumen's voyage? And if so, would you be willing for us to start the roleplay off as a flashback to explain Lumen's reasoning for choosing Kamaria? :D)

(Kamaria tends to be near rivers and lakes a lot so that would be a good location to start. And I can do the opening post)

So what country would they be in? And also, the beginning of this roleplay is a flashback, so it would be taking place prior to Serah's death. :D)

(Freia as the past location would work just fine! I have an idea that one of Lumen's trips to Afai got sidetracted by the captain to a Freian port in order to either pick up more passengers, (Kamaria maybe?) or pick up much needed supplies or repairs. Whichever of those options you choose works! :3)

(I like that idea. Kamaria does like to help, even though shes quiet an airhead. I think that would be a good idea for them to get their first encounter)

(Okee dokes! So the ship being sidetracted to Freia to pick up passengers, supplies and fix minor damage is the scenario! Neato! :D

I have just one last thing before we get started! It's sorta the set up for the roleplay, so you can write according to it! Ima type it real quick ^0^)

(Okie dokie! -w- I dont mind at all. Im excited to finally be using Kamaria for once)

(So Lumen is trying to recruit trust worthy people to assist him in his goal to deliver a very secret artifact. And thus, when thinking of a possible guide to lead him and his crew through the vast deserts of Freia, (The one country Lumen doesn't know much about xD) Lumen recollects the events at the Freian port and his encounter with Kamaria. Swiftly, Lumen sent a letter to Kamaria with directions and a pre-paid boat ticket Citrine. The messengers sent were very trustworthy, but not normal messengers. They didn't look much like messengers.)

(Oh this is gonna be good owo Im EXCITED)

(The letter was unsigned but, it had within it a reference to something that occured between Lumen and Kamaria during the past incident. This was a safety precaution to ensure Kamaria knew who it was from, but to ensure enemy spies did not know who it was sent from and intercept it.)

(I'm glad you like it! :D Once I heard where the flashback would take place, I got sudden inspiration! >3<)

(Oh yeh I cant wait to do a little doodle from this XD)

(So after said messengers delivered the letter, perhaps Kamaria would begin recollecting the events in the past where her and Lumen first met.)

Kamaria, caring her usual bag closely to her as it had a few important heirlooms very closely to her side. She was cautious but continued forward. She couldn't help but notice something unusual this day. It was a ship, and not a normal ship either. She closely walked towards where to ship was but stayed back far enough she would go unseen. Kamaria although an airhead she knew a good situation from a bad one. This was one she was afraid of.

Below decks, Lumen woke in his hammock to the sound of the ship's lookout calling to the crew below that the ship was approaching land. This all seemed normal, but the exceptionally hot temperature was not. Despite how his servant's robes breathed, he still felt swelteringly warmer than what was usual for an Afai port. It was not until Lumen went above deck, that he realized his ship had been detoured, much to his dismay.

Kamaria reached a point where she noticed a crowd of people. Seemed to her like this boat was not meant to be there. She grabbed her bag even tighter as she slowly reached where she wanted to be "Excuse me, Pardon me" She said quietly as she moved through the small amount of people confused on what was going on.

Lumen sat now above deck, watching the ship draw closer to the golden continent. The men on board expertly took their skipper's commands and executed them in an extroardinarily fluid fashion.
Gliding upon the water slowly, the ship pulled into port and let anchor fall, sending an emerald shimmer of water through the sun-bathed air.

Shortly thereafter, the crew hopped off the ship and began splitting up to perform their duties. Some went into town in search lf supplies, while others stay beside the ship and began assesing the signifigance of the ships damage.

Kamaria still as confused as ever stood there looking up at the ship, she was amazed yet terrified. She hasn't seen a ship like this in years. But she kept to herself looking for someone who seemed to be in charge. But she seemed to have no luck. "Uhm..can anyone explain where this ship came from? Or why its here?" She asked softly but it seemed like no one could hear her soft toned voice. So she shyly walked away a small journal falling from her bag she kept walking towards a good hideaway place to seek shelter in case of an emergency.

Lumen had spoke with the skipper for a short time, before being brushed off rather abruptly, as the skipper went off to supervise his crew. With a mountain of time and nothing to do, Lumen chose to disembark the vessel to explore the surroundings. By this point, a sizable portion of the crowd had departed, leaving only a few onlookers on the dock. he walked past some, his robes a stark contrast to the local residents attire. As he walked, he nodded in greeting to some, taking in as much imput as possible of this new terrain. But suddenly, something caught his eye. With a majority of the dock clear, Lumen's keen eye easily noticed the lonely journal, sitting alone, bereft to a lost exile.

"What is this?"

Gracefully bending down, Lumen picked up the journal and inspected it curiously. He searched for a name or brand to identify the owner.

"I have plenty of time to kill.....Might as well spend it doing some good."

Kamaria reached into her bag, realizing her journal was gone. Jumping down from the tree and landing softly. She looked around and backtracked where she left off
"Where is it. That journal has photos and things from my sister over the past few months...I could not have lost it already!"
She searched frantically walking around quickly and she saw Lumen with her journal. She did not want to accuse him of anything as she shyly walked up to him. Bag close to her side.
"U-uhm excuse me...T-that journal where did you find it?" She asked, her voice shaky and nervous as she only spoke to a small amount of people shes ventured with before. Not knowing who this person was she was cautious.

A question came from a gentle, quivering voice. Lumen Looked up from his inspection of the journal, seeing that the question had originated from a shy, shark hybrid.

Swiftly, Lumen bowed in greeting to the stranger, smiling warmly in hopes of assuring the hybrid that he was friendly.

"Hmmm-Oh this? I found it on the docks. Is it yours?"

Lumen held the book out toward the shy hybrid, so that it was easier to identify.

Kamaria brightened up just a bit "Ah! Yes it is. I didn't realized I dropped it till i hid...this is a very important to me." She shyly takes the book into her hands. She looked at the book before tucking it back into her bag. She looked at him with a soft look on her face "T-thank you.." She quietly said under her breathe as she slowly attempted to hide again "I'm sorry if I seemed a bit...odd"

"I am just glad I found it's owner. Or more accurately, It's owner found me."

Said Lumen, chuckling a bit.

Shaking his head, Lumen closed his eyes as he smiled reassuringly at Kamaria.

"I hardly find bashfullness odd. In fact, You remind me of a cleric friend I know. She is a bit younger than you, but I feel as though you two would make fast friends."

Kamaria sighed in relief "I was just worried...you were one of those bad guys. I was afraid they were looking for me...or even worse my sister" She said quietly before putting her bag down, patting her sides and holding her hand out. "I-i'm Kamaria it's a pleasure to meet you" She said to him with a shaky smile on her face.

(Ima be afk for a sec! Gotta go to the bathroom real quick xD)

Lumen extended his hand, taking her hand in his, gently shaking it in greeting.

"It is delightful to make your acquaintance Kamaria. I am Lumen Candeo."

Releasing her hand, Lumen tilted his head, a concerned look on his face at the mention of malevolent people.

"Have these bad people pursued you or your sister before?"

She looked him with a new expression, her face was a little sadder now "After me yes...in order to get information about my sister. I'm not sure if you know who she is..." She rummaged through her bag and grabbed an old photo pointing to another hybrid, this one had a much darker tone hair color, a metallic red really. "This is my sister...Aludra i've been looking for her for years..." She said softly and she looked at him with worried eyes.

Looking over the picture, Lumen tried to remember whether he had ever met this person before. Much to his dismay, he could recollect ever meeting the face before. Although, he did remember the name. He could remember where he heard the name, but it did seem familiar.

"Aludra? Interesting.....I remember the name, but not the person. Is your sister in some kind of trouble to warrant such attention from these unsavory types?"

She shakes her head "No...they just want information about our parents but..I don't remember who my parents are.." She said softly. She looked back up at the ship "I-im sorry, you must be busy. I-im sorry if i interrupted your work!" She picked up her bag once again "I-im really sorry"

"I am sorry to hear this....."

Lumen looked back to the docks behind him, seeing that the ship was starting to come together again.

"Please, do not say sorry. I am rather free, as all of my duties are accounted for. I initially intended to assist you with these bad people, but it appeats my ship is preparing to depart sooner than expected.....Please, forgive me...."

Kamaria grabs a sheet of paper from her journal writing something down before handing it to Lumen "This is where im staying...feel free to write to me anytime. If you ever need someone who likes to care for others..you'll know where to find me" she spoke softly before bowing her head as a way of saying thank you "Don't worry, i'm sure i'll see you again eventually." she smiled happily

Accepting the paper greatfully, Lumen bowed his head in thanks. Lifting his gaze to meet hers, he responded.

"Thank you, it is an honor. I too believe we will meet again."

Bowing in farewell, Lumen began to walk away, but he paused for a moment to say one last thing.

"The next time we meet, it will be to apologize for glancing through your journal...."

Lumen chuckled softly before hurrying off, his feet seemingly making no noise as he ghosted across the docks toward his transportation.

Kamaria waved a soft goodbye holding her journal closely as she watched the ship from where she stood. Her smile soon faded as she realized she was alone again but she knew it wouldn't be long before she would see her friend again.

Lumen stood on the docks waiting patiently at twilight, as amber rays of light refracted off the turbulent ebbs of the ocean. The gray clouds above were beginning to fuse with the darkening sky, as the sun began to step aside to allow the moon and it's stars to take the spotlight once again.
Although he was excited to meet Kamaria again, his face had a troubled expression as the weight of the journey ahead weighed on him. A moral conflict broke out in his mind as he questioned himself over his decision to try and recruit this a shy, kindhearted soul into such a perilous task.

(There we go! All done! ^0^)

Kamaria sat by the dock, as she carefully placed a small duck back into the water, waving it goodbye as she smiled softly. She looked out, even though it was a dark sky she tends to see the brighter things out there. She smiled softly writing in her journal, counting down the days before she set out on her own quest. A quest to find her sister once again only using the pictures she had. She still remembers her new friend, hoping for the day he would return as she made for him a gift, as a token of her appreciation

(Aye! I would love to continue, but I am starting to get really tired. Would you be okay if we called it a night? I really must thank you for such a fantastic roleplay! :D I can not wait to continue this! Soon, the next member of Lumen's crew will be officially recruited! ^0^)
