Re: Mmmmm that would not be a good idea, Jim would probably teach him something for screwing with Harper. Though he already has a shoddy reputation with the town, And Trav's dad is part of the law sooooo, Travis could easily lie to his dad about something, and with Jim's past he wouldn't need much convincing.

Also Harper finds ot super embarrassing to have anyone hover over her like a guard dog, the poor girl just wants to read a book in the woods without anyone to question it.

^Also as much as her dad wants to protect Harper, he also wants to make sure she can take care of herself. (which is why she knows how to shoot so well, and is somewhat competent in combat) He has some sort of set expectation for her, and she wants to meet it.
Probably one of the reasons why she didn't want the twins coming back with her home, because it made her feel like she failed her father in some way. (uh she already did but that didn't help lol)
