"Some Shells apparently are hereditary, as is the case with Legacy Royale. Since this is a Bloodline Shell, it gave Vex the option to name it himself. The Shell hasn't acknowledged his worth as a Host yet, so it rejects him at every turn. Perhaps more training is needed.
