Hey guys! Finally got around to posting the #Speculumfere Species guide that owners have been waiting on.
The speculumfere species is my own personal (closed) dragon species that is based upon nature itself. The common speculum dragon consists of a slim or average build with a slender face and strong jaw (nose bridge optional) with a average height of 9-10 ft and a max of 14-15 ft. Variations in feet type (claws, hooves, webbed feet, etc.) depend on their environment. One thing that makes this species very unique is their “glass cheeks”. They have clear pouches on the sides on their mouths that allow you to see what their element is and often leads to the conclusion of their original environment.
This species harnesses any variation of any themes in nature (i.e. beach, desert, ocean, woods, etc) and uses them to adapt to their surroundings. They are magic based in the case of their powers that they can use in defense, attacks, entertainment, etc. Their attacks are based on their element and often their surroundings will aid in attacks, in some cases (not very common) they will be able to manipulate their surrounding like levitating objects that associate with their element. Most speculumferes can fly but in some cases there are hatchlings born without wings, typically those are the stronger type.
Not all speculumferes are the same though.

Some descend from pure bloodlines that give them special markings and intricate designs on their wings along with special abilities that no other speculums can posses. These pure/ royal bloodlined types will be revealed later.
Some types of speculums can have different variations to their powers. If a speculum is fire based then they could secrete magma or breathe fire as they so choose but water based can only use water in their attacks, these vary among element types and bloodlines. If you receive a speculumfere their powers will often by listed and so will their rarity from now on. If you have any further questions that pertain to your speculum you may ask me personally.
You may draw your speculum on different websites, you MAY NOT sell this species to anyone, be aware of theft on different websites.
I will hold a Q and A for this species eventually.
