Disclaimer: I did not steal the clan name from anyone. No fanmade clan name is original, because more than likely at least one other person has made a fanmade clan under that name.
AuroraClan is a clan of forest cats around the edge of the Tanana Valley Forest in Alaska. Most cats in this region have adapted to have thicker coats to combat the cruel, frigid nights of leafbare and newleaf. Cats born with short coats don't last long.
In leafbare and newleaf, the temperatures can be anywhere from forty degrees to negative twenty degrees (Ferenheit) and in greenleaf it can be anywhere from forty degrees to one hundred degrees. In greenleaf, all the thick snow and ice has finally melted away and made room for the beautiful Alaskan wildflowers. The tall pine trees of Tanana Valley are full and green. The sun only goes down slightly for about four hours before rising again. But by the time leaf-fall comes around, it can go from one day being lush and green and extravagant and the next

its usual smog-gray color.
On some leafbare nights, cats can look up to Silverpelt and see StarClan's gift: the Aurora. Because they normally happen a few days after a clan victory or a naming ceremony, it is believed by many that on the nights the Aurora is shining its elegant green and teal lights in the sky, it means that the warrior ancestors of all who see it are celebrating for them. AuroraClan were blessed to have been given a clan name of a phenomena so extravagant.
