[the changes ]

A Renashin born have to be exposed to their element in order to shift. The process of the change is slow but the opposite of what is thot to occur with a slow change is actually what happen, most the time the will experience a sense of feeling free. but this can be different depending on the individual and type of Renashin.

A Renashin born will have a since to be one with the storm, storm make the Renashin energized and being in that form can for some feel good like them been free, others might feel empowered. This sensation starts when they shift.

However Shifting back to their human/humanoid is more discomforting for the Renashin, it's slow and feel like being forced into a small space. They go from a big powerful creature back to a small human/humanoid.

With his since it can be hard for an individual to what to shift back to their human/humanoid form but that not the only problem a person can have.

[ I'm a what now?]

Individual in their Renashin form will experience side effects and personality change. It's normal for an individual to have a type of amnesia, the individual will forget they have a human/ humanoid form. They will remember people but memories of themselves been human/ humanoid is replaced with them being a Renashin.

This can make it really hard to convince the individual to shift back to their human/ humanoid because the Renashin simply doesn't remember them having a that form, Only themselves as a Renashin.

It's because of this that some believe that the people who are Renashin born are really Renashin just with a human disguise, the people who believe this believe the Renashin as cursed monsters and not really people.

For the Renashin origin lore post:"A more morbid story is that the Renashin are evil creatures, that during the prism storm the Renashin effects a female who is with child and kill her fetuse and replace it with itself in the child's body, some believe this is the reason why a Renashin forget that they are a humanoid because they were never truly one to begin with, just a fraud, a wolf in sheep's clothing"-Ginny.

It is possible for the individual to remember their a human/humanoid, certain things in their memory don't add up, like their sizes, they still remember themselves at the height of their human/humanoid form and not the bigger Renashin form, people can also understand them when they talk, and their memories is more of a two-legged creature with hands then a four-legged one. Other memories might not add up as well putting on a favorite outfit, eating at a table or setting in a chair, things that seem out of place for a big Renashin.

Ones the individual realizes this, then their mind click that they have a human/humanoid form and probably should work to shift back to it.

Some however give into their Renashin form so much that even in their human form they see themselves as a Renashin and have more of a desire to return to their Renashin form

[speak my language]

When the individual is in their Renashin form, they can not speak, at least not human/humanoid anymore, they make more roars, growling, etc...

They can still understand language they just can't speak it, if they trying to talk anyone that hurt them would only hear the Renashin roars, growling, etc... sounds

Now say, their was two Renashin born's, one in their human/humanoid and the other in their Renashin form.

The individual in their Renashin form could roars, growling etc... And the individual still in their human/humanoid form could actually understand what the other one is saying.

An Renashin who trying to speak to someone else who is not a Renashin born would have to think of other ways to communicate.

Example: Von draw in mud or tries to signal with paw or body language to try and communicate with Priscilla. (It's a good thing she use to Von not talking much even in his human form )

There are several different symptoms to the change

In the picture it shows Von at 5 stages of his transformation but their 7 ( I just ran out of room and SPOILER!)

Anyway, starting from the left.

{{Stage one}}}

[ Do you smell that?]

A Renashin born body has to be exposed 40% to their element to start showing The first symptoms of the change.

the individual will start to give off a odor, this smell is different for each variety of Renashin but is usually awful.

The Renashin odor for the change:

[ That stinky fish smell]

Blue: the Blue Renashin give off a foul fishy smell or strong stagnant swampy smell. It's a smell that makes you want to gag.

Red: the red Renashin give off stench of burning flesh and hair, like a crematory or cattle branding, it's a smell that lingers in your nose and makes your nostrils twin.

Yellow: the Yellow Renashin smells of sulfur, a rotten egg stench, or burning wires.

Orange: the Orange Renashin smell strongly of dirt, it's the muskie kind that sticks in your nose.

Purple: the purple Renashin...well, they reeks the most, a putrid rotting decay stench that makes you lose your appetite for days... it be like putting death in the refrigerator and then forgetting about it in the back and it is expired, after that put it in the trash on a hot, hot day, that what they smell like...

[ *Deep breath* ah, the smell of greens ]

Green: the green Renashin is one of few that doesn't reek, they give off a smell like fresh cut grass or fresh chopped wood.

[ What does ice even smell like?]

White: the White Renashin has a stale frozen water smell that chills and reddened in one nose or like frozen rusted pipes.

[ *Achoo* dust bunnies up the nose ]

Brown: like the Orange the Brown Renashin smell strongly of dirt, it's the muskie kind that sticks in your nose.

[ That good old smell of air]

Silver: the Silver Renashin smell is different each time, as the wind carry all kind of different smells. One time it could smell good as another horrible.

Black: the Black Renashin smell of whatever displeases whoever smells of them, so it really doesn't have a distinct scent it's just know as smelling awful to others.

[ Is that chocolate chip?]

Gold: the Gold Renashin smell good to whoever smells of them. Sometimes a Gold Renashin will smell of a particular thing, like cookies and whoever around them as they shift smell their favorite cookies, others have been flowers, or even favorite deodorant, it really depends on the individual who a Gold Renashin on what they smell good of.

[ What the?]

Pink: the most peculiar of all the Renashin, the Pink has it's own unique smell that only it has, it can't really be described but ones a person smells it they won't forget it.

All these smells are a warning sign that the change is starting...
However this doesn't mean the change can't be stopped, at 40% exposed to that element only make the individual begin to smell, it's at 65% exposed to their element that the change can't be stopped.

So anywhere between 40% and 64% if the individual is removed from the element or exposed to the opposite of their element their change will stop and they stop smelling when they're no longer exposed 40% of their element

[ you are what you eat...well sometimes]

When it comes to a Renashin born diet, it can
Initiate the change as well but this has to do with the individual human/humanoid species.

For example: The green Renashin born, depending upon the human/humanoid species the individual could eat greens, like salad, fruits and vegetables etc... Humans, elves, Kikachi etc... If greens are normally in that species diet it won't initiate the change.

However for species like Goblins, Orcs, Imp etc...are carnivores and greens got exactly agree with their diet.

Now if one of them were a green Renashin born and ate a salad, it would initiate the change, it's because their humanoid species normally can't tolerate eating greens.

It works for the opposite say a purple Renashin was a Humans, elves, Kikachi etc... And they ate something rotten and grotesque it would initiate the change.

But it a purple Renashin was Goblins, Orcs, Imp etc...they ate something rotten and grotesque they would not change. They are used to eating nasty things as human, elves, Kikachi etc...are not.

It all depends on what the human or humanoid species naturally eats

[ It's all in the eyes]

One a Renashin born body is exposed to 65% with their element, the change cannot be reversed at this point, the first physical sign both the individual eyes with change to the Renashin, including their markings over their eyes.

Depending upon the human/humanoid species and what Renashin they are, eating something could initiate the change. ( note: this doesn't work for everyone )

When both eyes are that of the Renashin, that person is
past the point of no return and the mess part about to start...

{{second stage}}

In the second stage, the picture shows Von with little horns and his skin is paler.

(You can call them horns or antlers, they look like horns but technically are more like antlers but I'm not picky and will call them by what they look like to make it easier.)

[Rising of the storm]

As soon as the Renashin born horns start growing on their head, Aurora of their color of Renashin will form in the sky, a blue Aurora for a blue Renashin, a red Aurora for a red Renashin, etc.. the Aurora is the first sign of their storm.

As the individual horns grow bigger so does the storm, winds will pick up, clouds form over head.

The Renashin are known for their horns and that it's with them the storms are channeled, people will hunt Renashin for their horns, very powerful Magic can be done with them and the horns often sell for high price... Fresh horns are more powerful but need to be removed off a living Renashin.

Removing a Renashin horn is difficult, it's often take time even with a sharp blade and it's very painful for the Renashin.

Losing horn is like a double-edged sword, either the storm will get calmer or it will become more Savage and deathly...

Renashin born can regrow their horn but they have to shift back to their human/humanoid form first then when they shift back to a Renashin their horns will regrow

[ the rush of the storm]

In this stage the individual heart rate increases, their body is now being to change and work from being a human/humanoid to metamorphosis into the Renashin.

Depending on the individual this increases heart rate is usually taken at this stage two ways, either a adrenaline Rush or an anxiety attack.

individual who feel the adrenaline Rush gave into Renashin side, the changing process don't bother them, in the sense of it being painful or discomforting. Some even during the change will try and get as much as their element on themselves.

individual who experienced the exact attack, is usually not so worried about the change hurting them, but if they be able to control themselves or just the way they changed is nasty.

[A change of skin ]

In the picture Von skin gets paler and nastier as the progression goes.

The Renashins born during the change, their human/humanoid skin begin to change, this processes is different for each Renashin variety but for all of them the human/humanoid skin starts to feel strange at the second stage.

This is because their human/humanoid skin is dying but it doesn't hurt, it's the same thing as dry skin that people shed all the time.

At the 3rd stage of their change, their human/humanoid skin gets uncomfortable, it starts feeling tight and itchy, the individuals Renashin instincts will kick in more at this stage and they will start pulling off their human/humanoid skin like in the 3rd picture of Von

At this point the individuals human/humanoid skin is completely dead and painless, they only feel the tugging of them ripping it off as their new Renashin pelt is below their ones human/humanoid skin

[ the different Renashin skin change ]

Here are the different symptoms of the skin change for each Renashin born.
I'll be describing them as, second stage ( the second picture of Von) third stage ( the third one of Von) 4th stage ( the last picture of Von)

So there are three stages of skin lose...that sounds really horrible.

Anyway, starting with.

[Fish out of water]

Blue Renashin:
In the second state.
their human/humanoid becomes transparent.

as the process continues into the 3rd stage their human/humanoid skin gets gooey and sticky.

Towards the last stage of change their human/humanoid skin gets to a point we're it just meltzoff and make puddles of stinking flesh.

Out of the Renashin transformation the blue has the most discomforting one. In the picture of Von in his second stage, he holding his neck, this is because he feels a stinging sensation there as his gills start to form. As the change continues it gets harder for the Blue Renashin to breathe.

Von look to be in pain mainly because as he's changing the way he breathe air is, he going from a creature using lungs to one one who uses gills. So
he suffocating being out of water.

The first thing the blue Renashin will do is pull the human/humanoid slimy skin off their neck to expose their gills.

Red Renashin:

their human/humanoid skin in the seconds stage look like an extreme sunburn.

In the third stage their human/humanoid skin begins to burn and quickly starts to looks like severe burns ... Just like with severe burn victims the individual human/humanoid skin will pill or melt off when touched.
In the last stage human/humanoid skin becomes ash.

Places on the individuals arms and legs and back will show the bruins first, as there the spot the Red Renashin heat vent will form

[ that crackling sensation ]

Yellow Renashin:

With their human/humanoid skin in the second stage, the hair on the body stands on end, getting charged with static, this includes their hair.

At the third stage the individual human/humanoid skin gets electrical burn marks.

In the last stage The burn marks spread from spine grown out of the individual and will pull off the damaged human/humanoid skin around their spines.

Orange Renashin:

In the second stage their human/humanoid skin gets really dry feeling.

In the third stage the individual skin begin to look like an extreme tan we're the individual human/humanoid skin looks like leather,
as the process continues into the final stage the leathery skin feels more rough like sandpaper, individual will shed their human/humanoid skin kinda like a snake or reptile.

Green Renashin:
human/humanoid skin change is a bit different.

The veins in the individual skin begin to swell looking like roots, as they expanding cover the individual body, the individual has a harder time moving, at one point the individual can't move at all and their human/humanoid skin harden's appearing to be like leather but as the process continues it changed to a bizarre type of tree bark, at this stage the individual can't move and is like in a cocoon.

it's not until the Renashin size begins to increase that they break free from their cocoon human/humanoid skin

[ Nope, just nope]

Purple Renashin:

probably the most grotesque.

the individual human/humanoid skin being to rotte and decay on them. I don't think I have to go into details, I'm sure you can get the idea of how nasty this it. Awful Disease eating the flesh, mold and fungus growing on them, yeah it's not pretty at all...well, it's pretty gross ( ok, I'll take my smelly puns to the trash, alright I'll stop before it expires)

Unlike the Renashin the Purple don't rip off their human/humanoid skin, as they changed and grow in size the rotten flesh will hang on them in their Renashin form

[ Dry skin? ]

Brown Renashin: much like
Orange Renashin, their human/humanoid skin gets really dry feeling, it begin to look like an extreme tan we're the individual human/humanoid skin looks like leather, as the process continues the leathery skin feels more rough and will get flaky like dry skin or like what happens with an extreme sunburn. The individual will shed their human/humanoid skin kinda like a snake or reptile.

White Renashin:

In the second stage their human/humanoid skin start off as pink, like being out in the cold

As it progresses to the third stage the human/humanoid skin becomes frostbite,
I'm the final stage the change progresses freezes the human/humanoid skin and cracks. The individual will break their ice human/humanoid skin as they pull and paw at it
One if the first place the individual will break their ice skin is at the back of their head closer to their ear, this is we're their Aurora tassel grows

[ Just molting ]

Silver Renashin:

Their human/humanoid skin becomes metallic in the second stage

As the change progressive to the third stage quill will emerge through the skin, a pair of wings will start to grow from the individuals back

in the final stage that individuals quills will fluff out into feathers, the individual Wings will continue to grow until the transformation is complete.

Black Renashin:

The individual human/humanoid skin will get black blotches on it in the second stage.

The blotches will continue to spread and start forming a shadow substance in the third stage.

in the last stage the individual is completely consumed in a black fog

[ Blind by the light ]

Gold Renashin:

The individual human/humanoid skin will have a luminescence to it I'm the second stage.

The human/humanoid skin will glow and begin to dissolve in the third stage.

In the final stage the individuals human/humanoid skin becomes completely of light and dissolves off them.

[ Uhhh, that don't look right...]

Pink Renashin:

Unlike most of the other Renashin types or they will shed their human/humanoid skin, the pink dose not, their human/humanoid skin change into the Renashin hide

{{third stage}}

The individuals Renashin instincts take over and they just want to get out of their human/humanoid skin, it makes them feel cramped and uncomfortable.

I just cover the skin symptoms of each stage, so I'm not going to repeat myself for stage 3 for their transformation involving their skin.

The individuals horns would have grow more, causing the storm to also grow.

The individual's body will start taking on more of the Renashin form, the individuals fingers and toes will start growing claws, their feet will begin to bend like an animals. Ears will grow more pointed. The Renashin signature sales on their backs spine start emerge.

If a long mane Renashin, the individuals hair will start to grow longer.

{{4th stage}}

The individuals and it's most in between stage.

They still have human/humanoid appearance but it's disfigured but as the change continues less of the human/humanoid appearances there and more of the Renashin.

It's starts to be harder for the individual to stay standing on two legs and eventually they will drop to four.

A tail will grow

Their sales on their back will continue to grow

Their horns will get taller and the storm intensifies more. Their element will be in the storm.

{{Fifth stage}}}

The individual would have dropped to four legs,At this point, the individual has very little, if none at all,
human/humanoid appearance, but they're not fully developed as a Renashin.

Finn still need to be weaved together, tail grow out, spines and sales still growing.

[Finally at the end]

In the last stages of the change the Renashin body begins to grow and increase in size, as their appearance reaches their final stage.

That the shifting process of the Renashin and one the individual is a fully developed Renashin, they no longer give off that horrible smell

[ back you Beast! Back I say!]

In order for a Renashin to convert back into their human/humanoid, they must be removed from their element.

This can be quite difficult as most Renashin storms have their element in them, so they are constantly feeding themselves.

However the Renashin storm is more potent if the individual is in contact with a natural source of their element, then the element that they are producing.

Example: Von storm was out of control and Savage when he was in a lake and surrounded by the water. One he got out of the lake his storm was still going but not at the same devastating level. As the rain from his storm was still affecting himself but not as potent as natural water not made by his storm.

If the individual can be removed from their element and it's no longer present on their body, the Renashin will shift back to their human/humanoid.

The first sign of turning back into their human/humanoid the individual will start giving off their Renashin change smell again.

Converting back into their human/humanoid form is actually more discomforting for the individual then shifting to the Renashin form.

The individual feels cramped, like they can't get comfortable no matter which way they move as they shrink in size.

To the Renashin it feels like being crammed into a tight space. And in a way they are.

As the individuals size decreases, their Renashin pelts begin to fall off, kinda like skinning an animal...but under the Renashin pelt the individuals human/humanoid new skin is revealed.

The Renashin pelt will dissolve into a strange substance of it's element.

blue Renashin pelt will melt into a puddle of Blue glowing water
Red Renashin pelt will turn into a red Ash.

Yellow Renashin pelt will turn into a form of yellow plasma.

Orange Renashin pelt well turn into Orange sand

Green Renashin pelt will turn into green mulch

Purple Renashin pelt will dissolve into a puddle of purple slime but give off a pleasant aroma.

Brown Renashin pelt will dissolve into dust.

White Renashin pelt will dissolve into snow

Silver Renashin pelt will evaporate.

Black Renashin pelt will become a shadow.

Gold Renashin pelt will dissolve into light and that spot will glow.

Pink just changed back

^ the process of shifting from a Renashin to their human/humanoid slow.

Once the individual change the back to their human/humanoid they will no longer give off the odor of the change.

Even though the individual is back to their human/humanoid form, they will still have some Renashin side effects.

For a long mane Renashin, the individual will have longer hair when they check back to their human/humanoid form.

All Renashin born will still have their horn after change into their human/humanoid form.

[ Horns or antlers? ]

Another thing a individual will have after shifting is the Renashin signature horns, though they look like horns, they are actually more like antlers.

While the individual still has their antlers, they still have some Renashin power even in their humanoid form, however the temptation to what to go back to their Renashin form is stronger with their horns still on their head.

Thankfully A Renashin will shed their antler shortly after converting back to their humanoid form, Depending on the type of Renashin

this process normally takes 3 to 7 days to fall off.

As it get closer to falling off the antlers will lose their colors and look faded, some will start to chip and break more easily. In this time they can suffer some uncomfortable side effects, their antlers are itchy and sore, some might experience headaches

The place on the top of the individual head we're their antlers where, will be bald and bloody for a short time, but this will get cover up pretty fast as new hair grows in quickly with the Renashin.

The individual will grow new horns when they chang
