and i saw your comment, it made me a bit worried, but the battery thing... idk how much they cost (havent researched) but my family's been dealing with something rather rough since november and id rather try to save money if possible because cancer really sucks (if you havent had a run in with it in your family, i hope you /never/ do) and treatment costs a lot even if youve got good insurance coverage.

i do have an old 3ds XL but i dont know if a normal XL 3ds' battery would be compatible with a new 3ds XL (which is what im using)

and my battery's problem is a fairly recent thing that started in the past year or so, my 3ds sometimes pops like it's swollen in the back/bottom, it's also cracked on the back and im pretty sure that's not from the one or two times ive dropped it so yeahhh i think my battery's at risk of blowing up.

i /might/ be able to get a battery sometime if my old XL's battery isnt compatible with my new XL's. tbh id do without a fair few meals to keep using my ds and being able to draw lol
