RE: its kinda true but back in '12, the pokemon/furry community was super active and i used to know tons of really good artists who have since left colours, probably after they grew up and got a drawing tablet, and some of the reason is because the ds fell out of style when the wii u and switch came out... even in '14 when i was drawing homestuck (ooh boy) there were tons of active people in that community, but so many of my friends just randomly quit uploading and i never saw them again. :( same thing when undertale got its popularity strike, although by then the app was definitely dying out.
for instance i havent seen @johndave or @periscream in years. and @sparkyspoons(?) i cant find either, although i do have her fc...
