I heard that Pokemon Sword and Shield are coming out late 2019.

So you were vacationing in Texas? That's my neck of the woods! Hope it was a good visit!
I saw the new Pokemon trailer, too. Seems pretty interesting so far! Still waiting for more info before I decide on a starter and version, but I noticed Flygon made an appearance, so I already know one party member for my team. xD
