i gave up on the wing as you can guess
i cleared this single canvas so many times sjdgsjkdhd i just sorta gave up on making it look super good
anyway
this is stage two
stage three's not super different but probably has some sorta extra arm/claw thing on the back and is a lil freakier
for what you cant see here-lotsa crystals in a cluster on her back, lots on her shoulders, a lot that give her nasty claws on her feet to kick/scratch someone, and the backs of her wings are spiky

wings are tough lol. bat wings in particular are tough, i think bird wings are wayyyy easier.
when drawing bat wings, just try to remember that theyre basically like disfigured hands, the claw that points upward on them is equivalent to a thumb (vampire bats walk on that, they walk on their thumb) and the other joints in the wing are fingers and thus have the "segments" like fingers.
hmmm... but in xio's case, she has normal hands along with the wings so maybe normal wing rules cant quite be applied to her... o3o
