The Misty Mountains, that's what the first inhabitants called this empty and foggy area.
Even after decades many hikers and travelers discovered that the mountains had more mountains and stretched over several kilometers. Therefore, they called this place the Misty Mountains, but others also say the land, the fog or even the land, the shadow or the mountain range of Roknar.
A few centuries passed and a small town grew more and more. After a few years, however, the residents realized that they are not the only ones living there. There were also dragons and other creatures, so the inhabitants learned to tame some of the dragons, but many other dragons lived in their freedom.

A legend says
A big black dragon protects the other dragons and their inhabitants. This dragon is the most powerful, many say, this dragon is the oldest and the first dragon of Roknar. His eyes are white, the color of the nebula and the stars. His scales and armor were as black as the night. After the dragon had flown by, the wings were so large that a valley, a village even darkened a city in the dark. There are small gaps or even cracks around the scales. Legend has it that the fog and the shadows come from there.
Therefore, the first inhabitants called the Dragon Void, because the land was the first that was so empty. Others call this dragon the protector of Roknar.

By design, I mean I make you a creature of whatever you want. You can tell me to make a blue water dragon or a fox-bird or anything you can think of, and then you keep it as a character x)

Beautiful drawing! Love the detail of the mountain and the white on the jet black dragon. I really enjoyed reading your description of the Dragon Void.
