it basically corrupts and eventually kills someone who's posutive/has more positive energy than negative
and strengthens and sorta makes someone with more negative energy sortaaa immortal, not dying via corruption nor old age
since crim's a rainbow matter and not full dark matter, i say the former is more likely to happen
which means he /does/ have more time to be fixed/healed, unlike demys

crimson wouldnt take much damage from the phoseite (it counteracts zcronium), but demys does and thus it'd kill him trying to remove the crystals
the infection on crim is probably slower too because it was only one shard, at /most/ it could take a few days rp time for him to actually grow crystals on his body
basically crim is at least luckier, demys is not whatsoever > wheeze
