They do weird things like blood oaths, yknow where you cut your finger and sign something with it x'D
And they're in a gang of kids, they're super curious too. And are possibly more inclined to jump right into something than Harper, who's just really shy and nervous. (which is why she retreats to places like the woods, to be alone from all the craziness x'D)
