How are you?

I'm good! A lot better than I was when I left, of course there's some things that have gotten a bit worse but you can't fix everything in one go.
How have you been?

At least some things have improve, gotta start somewhere :)

I'm good, busy working and trying to get a second job or at least a better job. That's pretty much my life, work, sleep and draw

That's how it be sometimes for the struggling artist. I'm sure you'll find a decent job soon :)

Have you been drawing much outside of Colors or are you still be sticking around?

Just Colors for now, though I talk with people on DA (usually Kjumper) and have been exploring other sites, but I only upload here

I've been focused on my art class at school so I've been doing more traditional stuff at the moment. But I've been living on tumblr for a while now, drawing fan art sometimes (not often)

Oh nice, I suck at traditional, digital will always be my go-to

And not yet, but I did just get accepted to my top two colleges! So next school year I will be an official college student

It's probably something I'll do the rest of my life, working in Long Term Care Homes, I like the elderly, being around them is so calming and fun

That's nice, I have a lot of respect for people willing to use their time to help others :)

D&D sounds fun, I've seen several entertaining videos by Puffin Forest about D&D but I don't know how or if I'd be able to get into it myself 'XD

I'm doing alright myself, I've been kinda digging my heels into the ground when it comes to learning to drive, but other than that, I've been dipping into art myself off and on, it's been fun coming up with some new stories for new OCs :3

I take it the art you may or may not be doing is elsewhere, like on Deviant Art or something?

I would prefer they stayed here for now, I really /want/ to say yes, go ahead. But I can't. I trust you to link and credit of course.

But that's the issue, my stuff is so outdated and baaad. I don't want new people to follow the links and see my old-old bad art. That's why I want to have people wait. I want to come across as what I am now, more professional and my style/anatomy on my species much more developed and detailed.

I want to use a tablet to do so, but I'm struggling so much irl, my current job pays next to nothing and everytime I get a little ahead, something comes up. Also the exchange rate is ridiculous! I was looking at $500-700 tablets, only to realize that was USD, in my currency (CAD), that's between $800- over $1000 for the /lowest/ quality tablet.

I just ask you to bear with me a little bit longer, I've been focusing on getting into College lately and can't exactly afford to blow over one grand on a tablet. But once I get accepted, if I do, come January, I should have a better job and be able to afford one.

I feel guilty asking you to wait, I just hope you understand, I want to come across more professional. Once I get a move on, I want to start on updated character refs, I can make sure your characters are high up on the list. So you can get to posting them asap.

I don't want to take them back either! I couldn't! Everytime I see Laiken or any other of your characters, I think, "That's Griffin's character" I could never think of them as my own. You gave them life, gave them personality, I love all that you do with them. I'm grateful that you enjoy them so much, even after all these years.

Also I have a bad habit of still calling people by their old usernames xP

I still hope I can keep mine too? I've been wanting to draw Midnight ( #BHMidnight) again, but I didn't know if you wanted him back or not. I really do love him, I just didn't know and was a little hesitant to ask

Yeah, I was looking at the Huion, since Wacom doesn't deliver to Canada. I want my first tablet to be a really good one though, and I'm kinda broke right now. I don't even have a $100 to my name. I've put off a tablet right now, I've got more important things to be focusing on. Mainly moving on with my life, I need to focus on my future for a while, which right now, is College. Then I want to move away from home, strike out on my own again. I need to get my life in order. (I'm almost 25, AAAAH! I'm so old xD)

I'm glad you still doodle and think of them. It makes me happy! I'll be sure to start on some art for Midnight, maybe one day, you could finish those Aitazatl's. I always wanted to see the one I won.
