Yes, I did. How about you?

It was good. Christmas is always a pretty nice time for us, it's a chance to stay at home and relax. Though we're kinda poor so I'm always amazed that we manage to afford Christmas presents for each other. XD

I'll be able to stay up late for the next few nights too, so there's a chance I might decide to post more chatrooms and such.

I'm glad to hear that. Christmas, I felt, has always been a happy time to be with family. And a nice break from school. XD
And if you do decide to post more chatrooms, I'll be looking forward to it.

Yep. X) I'm homeschooled so I avoid the horrors of actual school, but it's still nice to get the chance to just chill at home and work on my personal projects for a while.

Along with maybe doing more chatrooms, I kinda want to draw more on my DS (I mostly draw on my computer nowadays). We'll see if that works out, though. XD

Actually, I was homeschooled k-12. And yeah, it's nice to have some free time to work on projects.

I was the opposite of that; I used to go to school (only when I was very young though) and later ended up being homeschooled. It's way better than going to school in my opinion. I'm at home more, so I have time to work on art/stories even when it's not Christmas. XD

Do you work on any projects or stories outside of Colors?

Well, I was thinking about going onto Deviant Art, but I really need to get used to my drawing tablet. It's really difficult for me when I can't see where my pencil is in relation to the drawing. XD
But, as of right now, all my art related projects and stories are on colors.

Yeah, it took me a long time to get used to drawing without looking at my hand. Having a good quality tablet helps. Also, it helps to make your drawing lines a bit more messy/sketchy than you normally would, at least in the beginning, because drawing smooth lines is kinda difficult. It just takes practice to get used to it.

XD Yeah, I'll have to keep trying. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. What kind of tablet do you use?

I have a small Wacom Intuos tablet that I bought about four years ago. I'm not sure they still make the exact same model that I have, but I think Wacom tablets in general are some of the best ones.

Actually, I think that's the exact one I use. Cool.

Will do. It might be a while though, I'm still not used to the tablet. At all. XD

Yeah. Hope he's OK. He didn't reply to my comment about the RP, so I guess he's not been on Colors at all for a few days. I might try to check his other sites later to see if he's been active anywhere else, or if he's really just disappeared.

Hmm, should it be a specific world, or just a random setting? I feel like random setting might be better for this. Like, some unnamed forest/mountain/city or something.

Spike was in the attic of a large mansion, exploring the various old objects stored up there by the owners of the house. He didn't know who they were, but he figured they wouldn't notice if he took a few things. Grinning mischieviously, he slipped a few pieces of jewelry. an old key, and a gold photo frame into his pocket. //That's enough for the time being... Now, I wonder what else I can do in this house...?//

Spike was a poltergeist who liked to move from house to house, stealing things and occasionally playing pranks on the residents. He'd never been caught, and had yet to encounter a resident who could even see ghosts.

{From below, the voices of the inhabitants could be heard.}
Woman: "Did you hear that?"
Man: "Hear what?"
Woman: "I heard something in the attic."
Man :"Just the rats, my dear."

Spike stopped dead as the voices drifted up through the ceiling. Then a huge grin broke across his face. 'Ooooh, this could be funny...'

With that, he began to make as much noise as he could - dropping objects, throwing things, jumping on the floor, anything he could think of. It would've sounded like far too much noise to be made by rats.

{After that, the voices became a bit more panicked.}
Woman: "RATS?! That can't be rats!"
Man: "Stay here."
{After a few minutes, the man opened the attic door and climbed up. He was a well built man with blond hair and a handlebar mustache. He had a rather fancy suit and came up the attic steps with a double barrel shotgun.}
Woman: "Be careful, Oliver!"
Oliver: "Alright, who's up here? Show yourself!"

Right as Oliver entered the attic, Spike dived behind a pile of boxes, hiding from sight. He stayed silent for a moment, but then, smiling mischieviously, he began to speak in a cliched 'spooky ghost voice' that echoed around the room. 'I am... the dead spirit that inhabits the walls of this house...'

{Oliver just frowned as he approached the voice.}
"Uhuh. And I'm Maldius, god of hyperdeath. C'mon out, show yourself!"

Spike then gave up on his spooky voice, letting out a theatrical sigh before he floated out from behind the boxes. 'You're no fun. Are you just angry 'cuz I stole your stuff?' He grinned, standing in front of Oliver, hovering an inch above the floor.

{Oliver wavered slightly at Spike's appearance, seemingly expecting a physical intruder.}
" A ghost? N-no matter! Get out, give me back my stuff and leave, foul spirit!"

Spike tilted his head. 'You're scared NOW? Seriously? I already TOLD you I was a dead person. You should've believed me the first time, lad. Anyway, what's the problem? Do I look scary to you?'

(Going to be slow with replying to both interactions from now on.)

(It's fine, I exploded for a bit anyway oof.)

Oliver: "/You're/ not scary, but the concept of an evil spirit moving into my attic is. Now begone! You're not welcome here!"

'I'm not moving in. I was just stopping by. Besides...' Spike held out his arms to his sides, still grinning. 'It's not like you can MAKE me go anywhere. I'm already dead!'

{Oliver just looks frustrated now.}
"Whatever, you said you were just passing by, so leave already! Like I said, you're not welcome here!"
