Hawk and Hunter Ref by FadingGlory
I think it's ref sheet spamming time. X'D All I can draw are human designs at the moment... so have more children!
Hawk and Hunter (left and right) are twins from a post-apocalyptic, modern steampunk, metropolis-ish city--a.k.a Trundale. The twins have the ability to bend metal at the touch. Because it requires a lot of concentration to craft things, they tend to keep their weapons in solid form and to create projectiles only once needed.
Despite being twins, their personalities are surprisingly different. Hunter's fifteen-minutes-older mentality has certainly given him a bolder outlook. He tends to take action first and to fight everything in his way, while Hawk feels the consequences and chews Hunter out afterwards. They fight almost constantly, which seems perfectly normal to them.
The "apocalypse" that destroyed Trundale began as civil unrest between the magical races and their government over bans on magic. When a civil war suddenly broke out, a magic user set off a bomb that wiped out nearly the entire population. The twins, thirteen at the time, survived by encasing themselves in a steel ball. When they stepped out of it, they found themselves in the skeletal and scorched remains of their past lives. They lived the next three years by scavenging and competing with the other survivors of the apocalypse, having only each other for support. At least, the trials have made their bond nearly unbreakable.

Random fact stuff:
• Hunter prefers a bow and Hawk uses a crossbow, which requires a lot less muscle.
• Both have hazel eyes, which are blue-green/gray on the outside and brown around the pupil.
• Hawk isn't as fast or strong as Hunter, though he is a nimble climber and is more practiced at metal bending.

Very nice designs and interesting characters! Post-apocalyptic steampunk is certainly a unique and engaging setting!

It was a show about the American Revolution and was probably by far one of the best things shown on pbs, tho the hecks took it down and stopped airing it.
I definitely recommend as a family show, it's cute, good story and characters. Plus it's educational.

I wonder how that would go down? Would they be like sneaking around the house or would they be riding back with Harper?

Ahhhhh yeah it might be better to plan out what we both have in mind, just to see what works. I feel like sometimes I accidentally make my characters talk to each other for too long rip.
