I suck at maps rip, this'll do for now tho. hold on a sec I'm going to dump some world info here ----
World building history concept thingu: It's really rough, just fyi,
At one point the the continent was one whole, the inhabitants were two kinds of people. Races of magic, and those who weren't gifted in such talents, aka Humans (duh). There was a racial divide between the two and those who didn't possess forms of magic were consider the lesser in society. Slavery was very prevalent, and humans were especially a target for it.
The country's government was cruel and unforgiving, it started out as an absolute monarchy with a few generations of good kings, but later slowly devolved into a tyrannical dictatorship. After sometime (haven't decided how long) there was revolution and war broke out between two sides. Eventually the Dictatorship crumbled but the country had split into two as well as the two races. A country with magic and one absent of it. The magic dudes took to the south, though there is no government at all and the rule is in complete anarchy, towns basically have set territories and fights for land tend to break out frequently. The northern half settled a bit differently and went on to form a republic, the economy for both is still terrible, and money runs tight, the south having it worse.
Not to mention there is a tight border between the two, keeping both races seperate, tho it's rare sometimes people are able to cross.
character placements below vv
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Characters in the north: Harper, Jim, Cherie, Quinn, Piper, Rainer, a few others I have in mind still need to make a council and stuff.
Characters/creatures in the south: The prophetess, The witch, Monger, Lang syne, most of my bird creatures, river monsters, flying whales, Harvest, I need to also fill this up more.
Everything and nothing can fluctuate between both though are more likely to appear in the Southern areas.
(All of Jim's animals are from the north, Harper's horse Musket is from the southern regions).
