Aurora Borealis first concept by FruitPalmTree
I'm not happy with the way I designed her, but that's only because it's my first time making a complete drawing of her. I just made stuff up with this as I went along.
DEFINITELY will change her dress, because it looks a bit messy, and it makes her look kinda evil lol
Aurora Borealis was Fiery's mentor when he was younger. She helped train him with his magic, but only his sleep and dream spells. Fiery obviously looked up to her so he had his looks partly inspired from her (make-up, outfit (shoulder pads LOL), colors, and... sparkles), so, I guess you know part of the reason he dresses the way he does, and looks kinda feminine.

God she looks and sounds like a Mary Sue hahaha
Well she's a demigod and a guardian, and a higher authority than the rest (much like #Piladisco), so I wanna make her really fancy
Plus she reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy for absolutely no reason so I think she's cool

She would be a mary sue if she was super powerful (but as you said, there are other beings like her) and if the story only focused on her.

And she doesn't look and sound like a mary sue :o She's not a flawless super-powerful girl that everyone loves etc. Just because she's pretty & powerful doesn't make her a mary sue!:')

Borealis is super powerful, but I guess she's earned that power. And she has flaws and made mistakes before, but she matured and has gotten a lot wiser since then. There are more guardians like her and Piladisco but I haven't gotten around to designing them yet; basically, they all help keep Reemania in balance.

I really like this character! I also don't mind the dress she's wearing either. It does look super pretty! ; )
