This drawing illustrates the moment the young Chris Austin and the little "wild" Froakie met each other.
Moments ago after the kid was trying to deduce what and where the heck was he, since he got mysteriously spirited away from his world into, at his perspective, "this odd world of strange creatures", he got actually attacked by a wild Pangoro, until the curious Froakie sprung in and struggle it away.
Chris of course was frightened of the situation.

Chris:
-Jeepers.
(Froakie turned around and slowly approached the kid)
-No, no no no. Please, don't hurt m...
(A branch hit his stained elbow)
-Augh!

Froake took notice of the kid's elbow, it was slightly bleeding.
So, he took a bit of his Frubbles and used them as bandage and covered Chris's injury.

Chris:
-Huh? What is this stuff? It's sticky, but very soft.
-T-thank you.
(Froakie slightly smiled)

The kid wasn't afraid anymore.
